🍓彡ENCHANTED FORREST - This perfectly crisp, tender on the inside and not too sweet simple vegan waffle is topped with bananas, strawberries & roasted almonds. Wholesome & hearty!

🧇彡SMOKED DUCK & WAFFLE - Tbh didn’t expect this to be THAT tasty and yummy! This easily became my favourite as it was prepared with their famous Norweigian waffles which are thinner and softer than the American & Belgian ones and served with smoked duck, fried egg, mustard maple syrup sauce and homemade roasted potatoes on the side.

🧀彡THE TRADITIONAL w/ brown cheese - So was it caramel slices or fudge strips? Guess what it was brown cheese! The combination of sour cream and berry jam really hits the spot and I can imagine this as their all-time classic!

🍵彡CREME MATCHACCINO - This refreshing and sweet blend of matcha drink is a must-have as it was topped with your fave kitkat, pocky & waffer matcha treats! Isn't that so awesome?

It's located at an easily accessible location in Gastown, with great service and beautiful decor (lots of florals, and pretty lights). I enjoyed the experience overall.

My order:

-The Traditional: brown cheese was very tasty (it's an imported Norwegian specialty) that tastes like aged cheese with a subtle caramel aftertaste. Served on a thin heart shaped waffle with jam. Highly recommend this unique dessert.

-Building a Campfire: a bit pricy, but still a very fun and unique concept. Might be interesting to incorporate a waffle/mini waffle component to this. Comes with large marshmallows, salted pretzels, assorted fruits and chocolate dip.

-Magic Butterfly Pea Lemonade: this was my friend’s drink, so I didn’t taste it myself. It’s a beautiful non-alcoholic drink with honey at the bottom so stir well before you sip.

-The Real Slim Shakery: I liked this drink; it actually wasn’t too sweet and looks super cute too. Good personal sizes portion too, not too huge compared to standard milkshakes.

-Chicken n’ Waffles: the chicken was a bit hard & dry, and looked like chicken strips or fish sticks at first, which I didn’t expect. The flavour was quite nice, with a subtle spiciness to it. The texture of the waffle itself was on the soft side, and a tad bit...

The cute decor and food inspired us to come here to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The Norwegian-style Be My Valentine waffle is adorably arranged into little hearts and the strawberry syrup, white chocolate pearls and coconut truffles together create a decadent dessert breakfast. The Mickey in Waffleland is a nice balance of chocolate toppings and waffle. The Oreo crumbs and whipping cream don’t overwhelm the waffle but instead complement it so you can still taste the waffle underneath. It also comes with vanilla ice cream as a nice dessert to an already sweet brunch. The Cupid's Arrow Cocktail is a very fruity and sweet beverage pairing to the waffles which was like a palate cleanser between the two waffles. The interior decor is another noteworthy feature of this café with the twinkling fairy lights window, pastel pink floral lamps, hanging potted plants and vines which give an overall whimsical look and vibe.
