The Roxy Cafe in Vernon is nothing short of a town gem! The establishment sits unassuming among a tapestry of other quaint businesses populating the area.

Once inside you'll be met with modern, big city style that melds harmoniously with small-town warmth, and welcome. The grey walls are complimented perfectly by white trim, and the rustic wooden floors give pause of appreciation to the modest cafe's stylish presentation.

Gently cascading throughout the shop is a wonderous conjure of enticing aromas — breakfast meeting with lunch while offering delectable enjoyments of sweets and other baked goods.

To first timers, such as my forty-year-old self, the coffee menu can seem daunting at first glance, but the cafe's employees are pleasantly eager and willing to help guide you through.

I landed on a London Fog, and have ZERO qualms in proclaiming that it was THE best London Fog I have enjoyed to date!

For their food offerings, my introspective call to breakfast demanded that I try their famed, Break-Wich Sandwich — and once more I'll pontificate — it was rapturously delicious. All the staples of a good breakfast are swaddled between two pillow-like pieces of artisanal bread. Glorious.

Among the carefully selected decor of muted colours, sits a small rainbow flag, humbly declaring that any and all are welcome here.

If you're in Vernon, do not miss out on the chance to stop in and visit one of the best coffee shops I have ever been to.

I love the Quentin Tarantino movie soundtrack music that plays in here. It's fitting given this is the café where they filmed a movie back in the summer of 2021.

This was my first time here. I saw Fancy Fries and bought it. It came to $15.75 after tax.

The bowl was much bigger than expected. I thought it would be a small bowl and lean more into a veggie poutine taste, but I was very pleasantly surprised.

Overall, 5/5 and I can't wait to try some of the vegan options on the menu.

Today, I had to go to Nolan's and behind Nolan's is Roxy's cafe which I hadn't tried yet. However I was just in for a coffee stop, and grabbed myself a cinnamon bun to go. While I was drinking my coffee this trendy cafe was buzzing with positive energy and the line was going out the door. There is also a nice Sun deck sitting area outside Roxy's cafe however I chose to sit inside. I also appreciated the self-serve water with large Lemon 🍋 floating in the water. Observing the customers I overheard other customers share their favorite dishes as well as how they learned of Roxy's cafe.
