One of my friend told me there was a new ba le restaurant open on fort street so before I went I would spend like minimum $20 to $30 dollars I paid for my parking ticket for 90 minute it cost me $5 dollars make sure to have enough time to enjoy my food but turned out I only spent $7 dollars for a sandwich . because I have never seen this kind of terrible service. okay at first when I got in to the restaurant there was no body come to me ask me oh say something and there was no instructions sign for customers until i got a menu from the counter 10 minute after I wanted to order my food when I looked at the kitchen a man saw me and he kind of like yell at me from the kitchen if you want to order come up here the was no please in the sentence bad. Attitude that was a bad experience ever had and something that I want to let you know I saw a sandwich maker had a break about 10 minute he sat next to my table after he finished his sandwich do you know how he cleaned his table he wiped the table with his hand with no cloth everything off the table and he got back to make you a sandwich wear with no gloves not very hygiene no senitze the table at all I don't know this guy has a food safe oh no but I dult it I'm not coming back again...

We stopped in for lunch, it was empty when we got there but 4-5 parties filtered through as we sat. We ordered a lemongrass chicken banh mi and a tofu banh mi. Unfortunately, due to a medical incident with a staff member, our order got a little mixed up and we ended up with two lemongrass chicken banh mi. The sandwiches themselves were pretty good. We're used to the full, spilling-out-the-sides banh mi that we get in Seattle which made these sandwiches feel quite light. The bread was nice and the ingredients tasted good, but there's nothing quite like a loaded banh mi. Overall, I would recommend for some light lunch either on the go or during a quick stop-in. I do believe our experience was not the norm, given the medical emergency. But, the quick takeover by the owner and his nice treatment towards us make me think this place is run by good people and, generally,...

Very good service! I stumbled upon this place while walking around downtown and thought I would give it a shot. I ordered the pork ban mi and iced milk coffee. The coffee was superb with such a powerful coffee flavor that was followed by a delicious sweet taste leaving me wanting more. To say the least I was happy and awake at his point. The sandwich consisted of some of the best bread I have ever had. So fresh and delicious it was clear the quality was high. The rest of the ban mi was very good and full of flavour. A great meal but even greater service. Very friendly and happy to serve me I could tell they care about their food and customers. Overall a fantastic experience run by great people serving delicious food and drink. This is a must try if you are looking to support good food...

The only place on the Island that sells authentic Vietnamese Banh Mi (submarine sandwich) like the ones you'll find in Vancouver. I ordered the cold cut special for $8.00 and they actually use the correct butter, pate and meats unlike other places offering Banh Mi on the Island. The subs are a bit shorter than I've seen and inflation raised the prices recently but that's basically everything nowadays. Overall I still consider it well worth it and I'll recommend this place ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Delicious viet subs! I got the Cold Cut Dat Biet sandwich. The bread had a nice crispy outer and soft chewy interior. The pickled garnish had really nice flavors and tied the sandwich together. The portion was big and the price was good. If you are in the area, it is definitely worth a stop for a quick bite. There are a few tables inside and the place was clean.

Ba Le'in so hard ************ wanna find me Love the spot. It's chill and quiet and that's exactly what I need on my lunch breaks. Prices are great are portions are ideal. Buns are crispy and ingredients are fresh, and that's how you know it's an authentic Viet sub. I come here at least a couple times a week, sometimes twice in one day.
