I recently dined at Noodlebox in Canada Victoria bc at Douglas street and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality.
Throughout the meal, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of excellent. They were attentive to every detail, from promptly seating me to regularly checking in to see if I needed anything.
What truly stood out was their professionalism and knowledge of the menu. They were well-versed in the different dishes offered and were able to provide helpful recommendations based on my preferences. Their enthusiasm for the cuisine was evident, and it enhanced the overall dining experience.
Furthermore, the staff exhibited excellent teamwork and coordination, ensuring that orders were taken accurately and delivered promptly. Despite the busy atmosphere of the restaurant, they remained composed and efficient, never compromising on the quality of service.
Overall, the staff at Noodlebox exemplify the epitome of hospitality. Their dedication to providing exceptional service truly sets this restaurant apart. I would highly recommend Noodlebox to anyone looking for not only delicious food but also a memorable dining experience thanks to its outstanding staff. Kudos to the team for their hard work...
Read moreFood as palatable fuel. Large portions for a relatively low price. Primary offerings are single bowl east Asian derived meals - noodles or rice, veg, plant or animal protein, everything together in one large bowl. Licensed for beer. Didn't like most of the local craft beer I tried while on vacation in the Victoria/Vancouver Island/Discovery Islands area, but the brand served here was good.
I don't live anywhere close to here, but if I lived or worked nearby and there were days when I didn't want to either cook or spend too much at a restaurant, I'd go back here.
Suspect that complaints from some of getting just a bowl of noodles, nothing else in it, may be due to misunderstanding the modular, grain/veg/protein menu system. If it isn't listed in the menu as a specific combination of ingredients then you have to specify what exactly you want, in the way of an all together in a single bowl combination of grain/veg/protein.
And in terms of consistency it's not a major national or international chain or franchise, so even though your order was the same as previously, you may not get exactly the same thing from day to day, depending on who is on shift.

Read moreI was desperately looking for food after arriving in Victoria and made the big mistake of trusting reviews on Google that this restaurant was ok. Big mistake. The first sign something wasn't right was the dirty windows, always a good sign the food will be terrible. Next give away was the lack of customers in the middle of a lunch time peak. The next sign was the disinterested staff who probably have never tasted true versions of what they're supposed to cook. I thought trying the Pad Thai would be risk free but I was wrong. Definitely the worst Pad Thai I've had in my life and also one of the worst meals I've had in many years. I left most behind it was that bad. Besides the noodles (which were mushy) no other ingredients would ever be seen in Pad Thai. I asked for no spices but still ended up having to dodge chilli flakes in the sauce. Staff seemed more interested in talking between themselves and with mates on their phones than customers requests, of which there were few. For those customers who believe this is good food I'd suggest trying a proper Chinese or Thai restaurant and comparing authentic Asian cuisine. I definitely won't be returning to the restaurant again, I suggest you...
