This was my second visit to Jollibee across from WEM. On this visit, I had the 2-piece crispy chicken plus side combo. What you get for a side is either mashed potatoes, french fries, or spaghetti. For chicken, I got a drumstick and a thigh. I will add that I came in with my wife and infant son, and my wife wanted the 1-piece plus the spaghetti combo. I ordered after my wife, then sat down with my tray after I got my order. About 1/3 into my order(ate the drumstick, a couple bites from the thigh, and a few fries), I had to stop eating. My wife needed some assistance with feeding our son. So, I got up, grabbed a back support out of the diaper bag for him, and placed it behind his back on the highchair to prevent him from slouching. Well, I went to sit back down and leaned on the table with my forearm to sit, which I usually do, but this time.. something unexpected happened. When I got to sitting down, my tray and all of its contents, gravy, ketchup, most of the chicken thigh, 95% of my fries, and everything else went flying on my lap and shirt! The trays stick out from the 2 person tables when you have 2 of them. OMG, I really had to hold in my anger, as I had my wife and infant son with me. I hate wasting food and making a mess on myself, but I needed to say something about this. So, I spoke with a supervisor to address the issue with the large trays for the table size so that hopefully, this will NOT happen again, to me or anyone else. The supervisor said that he would look into the issue. Until that point I was really enjoying the chicken, and the fries too. I guess we should have chosen to go to McDonald's this...
Read moreAn absolute disaster. It was a very cold night where I went to the drive thru, all tired from work, to get some meals. Everything was going well until I reached the cashier where it all went wrong. Placing EVERYTHING on a big plastic (ew) bag, surely nothing could possibly go wrong, right? Well, the lady who handed my order surely thought of that, but unfortunately it was a mess.
The burger steak sauce was dripping all over, the chicken was flying on the bag as if it were still alive, and some. At the time I was fixing the mess they made, they SHOUTED at me to go off. They basically gave me a pile mess and told me to go away. Like, who does this? On all the decades I've lived until now, no company has done this much disservice as Jollibee. I don't know their current marketing slogan now, but before I remember it was "Sa Jollibee bida ang saya" which roughly translates to "Jollibee promotes happiness". Unfortunately, they probably discarded that one as I was definitely not happy when I went there. They should add "free stress" add-on to their drive thru orders because they definitely gave that to me on my visit. If I would've known, I wouldn't have wasted my time and money to do so.
P.S.: If the manager of that branch is reading this comment, I truly hope this will be an eye opener to retrain their staff on food handling and packaging, and some actual customer respect (because I didn't feel any respect from my previous visits). Enough is enough. Even if you really need some Jollibee meal, avoid this branch...
Read moreI couldn't be more disappointed with our experience here. Firstly, we wanted to use our Jollibee's Gift Card but the cashiers told us they would not accept it at this time due to the computer system. Seems strange?
Nextly, after receiving our order we realized there we were missing an item as per the menu. I promptly addressed my concern with "Che" and "Abi“ the Assistant Managers. After she spoke to her staff and referred to her computer, she turned to me and said it was a "Cashier Error / Mistake" and told me that I needed to now pay for the missing item despite admitting their staff made a mistake.
I wasn't pleased to hear this. I have never encountered such poor customer service anywhere. If this was any other restaurant, the item should be complimentary in good faith as a mistake was made. I will never come back here. The issue wasn't the $2.00 but rather...
