This was the worst birthday experience i ever had in my life!! I called about a week invanced to book the private room for about 20 guest. I also called and confirmed the day of my birthday. When we arrived there was one server working with us. 20 guest one server. At this point everyone was starting to order drinks. He would take orders from a few ppl and then leave while everyone else was waiting 20 min or so. I got my wine eventually had a sip and asked my friend if she wanted to taste as she went to taste she saw a bug in my drink . Just disgusting. I told the server and all he had to say was ok I'll get you a new one. As i look around i here some of my guest say i still haven't ordered a drink . I look at the time we were already there for a hour. Now my guest is getting frustrated cause we haven't or food yet also we had another event to go to. Keep in mind my reservations was 630 had another event to go to for 930. We finally order our food at my table this is now 745 .. we were nervous about half hour later i look over at my other guest and they say he hasn't took our order yet. Now I'm so upset cause we have a comedy show to go to. Also all my guest is wondering why there were only one serve on. So we asked why he was the only one on. He really didn't have a answer. Finally i get my appetizer which were lamb bits or something like that. I proceed to cut into it it was hard. When i order i ask for medium for the cook on the lamb. I got well done. I let him know he said he would order me a new one. Next one comes its was raw. I just gave up. So at my table we all start getting our food. My mom was the last to get hers at my table. The serve stretched over my dad to pass her the plate and she grabbed it and burnt her fingers so baddddd she was almoat in tears. We now rushed her some cold water cause it was starting to swell. The server did not say the plate was hot not once. He ran over with a bucket of ice. My mom put her hands in there for a bit but she couldn't for to long cause she has arthritis . At this point we are all worried for her. In this time i still haven't seen a manager come and say anything together or even my mom. My husband got up and went to speak to someone and he came back disappointed. We came to the conclusion that no one cares. 8:50 PM i ask for everyone bills as we had a show to go to at 930. The server is still apologizing for the hot plate he finally went to sort out the bills. My mom couldn't eat she was in so much pain. Finally time is going by fast so everyone at the dinner got up and started to go to the front to pay for their bill cause our show started at 930. At this point the server said he was giving 25% off. I see the server and another server and another guy at the front collecting money. So i asked the other guy if he was the manager he said yess in a quiet voice. So began to ask him why he did come to the room and apologize for the horrible service and someone fingers we're burnt in your restaurant and didnt not feel the need to come check on your guest? She was in sevier pain. He had nothing to say. At this point people arw realizing he was the manager and everyone was upset. He didn't care about us . My mom is still in pain and seeing q doctor about it. This was on September 21st. I don't recommend this disgusting place. All they care about it the...

We had a fall promo with our hotel room to eat there for a focaccia bread and cheese fondue. We arrived to be greeted by someone who had no idea of our promo and argued that we had a different meal booked for later. She made us wait 4 minutes while she called the front desk because she didn’t believe us. They serve tap water.. which is perfectly fine but it was nasty tasting tap water. The focaccia bread was chewy and cheese fondue was chunky and didn’t taste the greatest either. Then we were told the waitress was cashing out so we needed to pay… we weren’t even done eating. She states we can stay and finish. So we did. To be left standing inside the restaurant locked in with no staff around…. We unlocked the door on the bottom and walked out.
Fast forward to dinner. We had booked it again, through the hotel as an anniversary package. We showed up with a reservation and set menu of what was supposed to be served. We were seated promptly this time to be then greeted by the I assume manager who was pretty rude when we asked him to explain the meal and what we would be getting exactly because we’ve never had it before. Not a hard thing to do, he didn’t make us feel welcome at all. We asked him to take the nasty tap water away and he got all pissy stating we’d had to pay for the other water… yet we are paying $200 already for the meal that is only worth $100… sure the hotel throws a few rose petals on the bed and they offer you a bottle of sparkling wine and dessert but don’t offer nasty water just to make a buck when you charge for the better tasting actually drinkable water. We didn’t want the other water just take the nasty one. He tell us it would be a 45 minute wait while they prepare the platter… who in their mind wants to wait 45 minutes for their food… like seriously?! He came back a few minutes later and we asked to confirm why it would take 45 minutes when we had a reservation with a set menu that they could’ve already had prepped… he tells us he said 25 not 45 which is a lie. Then my husband noticed his shirt is unbuttoned and told the manger to fix himself. At this point my husband and myself had enough and agreed to go somewhere else to be treated better and not wait 45 minutes for our food.
Sorry for the long review, however if you’re considering this place I honestly would go to moxies just down the mall. Food was way better and they treat you proper.
Also, the decor is tacky and honestly...
Read moreWe stayed at Fantasyland Hotel, therefore we had breakfast (as room service, and once take out), then dinner followed by their brunch buffet.
Breakfast combined we tried their Albetan Breakfast, Omelette, French toast. To be honest, their omelette and scramble eggs both overcooked, which makes the egg very dense but it edible. Somehow I really enjoy their hash brown, nice and crispy on the outside and soft inside. Both omelette and Albetan Breakfast come with a side side of fruits which I also enjoy. French toast would be something I advice to avoid, as it was very sweet not a nice balance between the syrup and berry sauce.
Dinner we ordered two drinks - Salt Dog and the woo woo, Brie Cheese with bread (Winter special), Fantasyland burger and 4 cheese pasta with mushroom. The drinks were not my fav, however my partner enjoyed both very much. The Brie Cheese with bread was amazing, love brie to begin with and being paired with jam even better. Fastasyland burger was huge, but super juice, huge portion, garden salad was fair. 4 Cheese pasta was very filling, very cheesy but to add in chicken or mushroom there is an additional charge.
Brunch buffet, we arrived on Sunday at 1030 however buffet was not ready. Overall food quality is lower than my expectation, mussel and crab legs were not as fresh. Smoked salmon was very oily, I would recommend to avoid. Their hot breakfast items were fair, not amazingly good. Roasted beef is something you can look forward to, very juicy just slightly on the fat side. They also provide omelette / egg station, chocolate fondue station. To finish up your buffet they have a bakery / sweet table and smoothie station. I would say this is something I try for once and thats it, for $49 / pp I can potentially get better ones.
Overall staff and service was amazing, very helpful and detail orientated. Very friendly as well. I would say 3.5 / 5 stars, however it will not be fair for those resturant where I...
