Went there today to get a late meal and i did not expect it to be so literal. We ordered our meal at 7:08pm and did not actually receive our order till around 7:50. Now as someone who's worked in the food service industry for just under 10 years i was appalled by the way that (who i believe were) the supervisors were. One i know her name was courtney and she was horrid. doing minuscule tasks and not actually helping whatsoever nor doing WHAT a supervisor or manager should do in a situation of being short staffed, which i totally understand as I've experienced it, being short staffed sucks but she was not doing much or taking any kind of control to make what was UTTER chaos into a controlled environment. I HIGHLY commend Nikki and Jean-Claude for how hard they were working to try and make customers happy and take control of the mess. They really did an amazing job at trying to find out what needed to be done, who was missing what if they were missing something. they were LITERALLY the ONLY ONES taking initiative and doing THEIR JOBS!!! EXCELLENT JOB NIKKI AND JEAN-CLAUDE!!! As I've said I've been in the food service industry for just under 10 years, and had experience in food and beverage management and if someone in the facilities I've worked ever waited more than 18 minutes they would've been comped their meal IMMEDIATELY without question, now as a fast food facility that should've been the first thing out of COURTNEYS mouth but no, jean-claude and nikki were the only ones trying to figure out why we had no received our food yet and why it was no longer on the screens, and when courtney decided to join them in the battle field she asked what we ordered and she left without saying "ill be right back and find out what happened" or anything and started playing with the screens to see if she could find our order then she went over to the til and then walked away, disappeared for abit then came back and reprinted it. As someone who's in her position she should have kept all customers and employees up to speed with everything and people like us who have waited for literally MINUTES SHY of an hour. There was also another girl who had the same attire as courtney so im assuming she's supervisor as well she kind of took a little control but kept complaining out loud how her shift was over and she also had who i assume was her sister yelling at her and going behind the counter in PYJAMAS. Now again as someone who's been in food services for just under 10 years and have been in close contact and associated with HEALTH INSPECTORS i was definitely not impressed with how she did not tell her to get out. it was just utter and disgusting chaos and i seriously don't know what to say. I've never been so disappointed like this with fast food cause come on, its fast food, not the garden restaurant at the four seasons hotel, but still i paid for a meal and i expect to get it in a relatively decent time and if something goes wrong that i not feel angry and unattended (again except for nikki and jean-claude) I cannot say enough how GREAT Nikki and Jean-Claude were. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding the unacceptable behavior I experienced from two staff members — Monica and another Indian girl wearing glasses — at your store.
On my recent visit, I was there to pick up a SkipTheDishes order. Unfortunately, instead of being served with respect and efficiency, I was mocked and made to feel extremely uncomfortable by both staff members. They were casually chatting with each other, completely ignoring their duties, and made fun of me while I was waiting.
Monica deliberately kept the order aside after it was prepared and did not hand it over for more than 36 minutes. When I asked about the order, Monica very rudely told me to cancel it. Even though the order was ready, she kept looking at me from the window without giving it. When they finally gave the order, both Monica and the other girl spoke very rudely and continued laughing and making personal remarks.
This kind of disrespectful and unprofessional behavior is completely unacceptable. I have never faced such treatment before at any other location. When I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor, I was told that there is none available, which is even more shocking.
It is extremely disappointing that McDonald’s would allow such staff to represent your brand. If this matter is not taken seriously and action is not taken against those responsible, I will raise this issue on all review platforms and with the SkipTheDishes support team.
I hope McDonald’s takes this complaint seriously and ensures that such behavior is never repeated. Staff should be trained to treat customers and delivery drivers with respect and...
Read moreWent through the drive through. Ordered a quarter pounder meal and a double quarter pounder meal and a mc chicken sandwich. Everything was on the screen as I had asked also asked for a drink with no ice. Got home had cold fries and missing my chicken sandwich, then called to say I was missing my sandwich. I don’t like calling to complain but the cost of take out is insane. I got a hold of someone and then they pass me off to what I would think is the manager. He then tells me that yes you ordered the food but wasn’t charged for the third sandwich, and I said yes but when I ordered it and saw it on the screen it had it all on there. The manager kept saying yes you paid for the other meals but not the chicken cause it wasn’t on there. This went on for a few mins. I understand the service industry. The amount of people that come in and get food and the system usually works very well. But I’m not asking for a full refund but an acknowledgment that something went wrong. Easiest thing would be sorry for the inconvenience let me make it right for you. None of that happened as he kept saying that I paid for the other meals. Yeah but who deleted the order. So I then said you just don’t want to help or anything. I don’t have time to argue with someone who doesn’t understand how to talk to guests. So I told him I’ll just eat my cold soggy fries and not eat my missing burger. I think simple training for customer service would go a long way not just for my experience but every other guest that comes to your store.
