I asked if I could have a cashier take my order, to the manager that was directing people where to stand because of covid-19. She told me no you have to use the self service. It seemed strange because why would you want everyone to touch the same interface when keeping social distancing and cleanliness is the main priority right now due to pandemic. After I ordered my food the manager then directed the person behind to go to the cash to order, minutes after she told me I could not go to the cash and have a cashier take my order. To top it off when I got my food I asked for two habanero dipping sauces the lady giving out the foods just said it $.30 per sauce I can give you ketchup and then dump a handful of ketchup in my bag like it was a consolation prize. This was the first time I was asked money for a dip but at no point did I said I wouldn’t pay for it. She just assumed I wouldn’t and was trying to get me out of the way. I informed her that I will pay for it, but instead she grab just one and said here you go. Lack of respect...
Read moreI needed to share this. It's sort of amusing. My kid and I ordered at a kiosk. It didn't give us the mcchicken sauce as an option for dip for nuggets. I went to ask for some at the counter. The guy wanted to charge me for them. I said, I just want the sauce in place of the dip options you have on the kiosk menu - I'm not asking for extra dips. He said I can give you one pack. I said can I please have 3.... my kid and I both ordered nuggets, we both don't want the dip options provided, but the sauce instead. He had a hard time and said, I can give you 2. It was poor customer service in my opinion, as we weren't trying to get free sauce/dips. Plus the other dips seem to be included with the nuggets. It's so odd. I really hope he was trying to save this billion dollar company some money (lol), the way he behaved as if we wanted free/extra sauce and he acted as if it was a very rare commodity lol. Ok, sauce police.
The tables need more frequent cleaning....
Read moreI am a regular customer of Whistler's Mcdonalds and generally I find the staff and management to be friendly and efficient. Over the last few days Whistler Mcdonalds has been promoting a $2 Big Mac and Mcchicken deal both in restaurant and on social media. Being poor Whistler residents my partner and I thought this would be a great alternative to cooking after a long cold day of work. I decided to drive across town just for the deal that Mcdonalds has been promoting all over social Media. When I went to the counter to order the staff told me that they were no longer able to honour the deal due to objections from head office. Thank you Mcdonalds for wasting my time and gas with your reckless false advertising. You will never see another cent from me and I will hapily find another place to buy my daily coffee (probably the Tim Hortons which is opening next...
