Human Bean Coffee & Tea — Restaurant in Winnipeg

I see the girls every day and i really enjoy saying hi to them i give this coffee shoppe 5 starts for the people working there they always have smiles on there face and always give speedy service, i feel delighted going to them and being a local bussiness im all for supporting my fellow Winnipegers!! but the only comment i would have is the sandwiches and food have been creeping up very fast in price when they first got here sandwiches were around the $6.50 $7.00 mark which was very reasonable but some sandwiches cost close to $9 now which is out of my daily budget so unfortunately my food intake has had to go down. The dark roast has been tasting a little bit weak the past little while which is the only change ive noticed aside from the price changes. Being a business owner myself i understand the concept of supply and demand and when people do things like steal food, or post bad reviews that is why the prices have had to go up "just a guess" downtown is a very risky place to start business with inventory as a lot of downtown rif-raff take it upon themselves to steal a businesses lively hood. The food is awesome don't get me wrong i thoroughly enjoy my roasted turkey sandwich i recommend everyone to support the local economy! especially a coffee shoppe that has been around for 22 years. love love love!! I recently visited Human Bean, a local coffee house located in the heart of Cityplace in Winnipeg. The mother-daughter duo who run this local coffee shop offers a diverse range of salads with different kinds of dressings, refreshing smoothies, and an impressive selection of teas. The staff was helpful in assisting me with my order, and I was very happy with their service. I ordered a salad, a cheesecake, and a strawberry banana smoothie, all of which were delicious. In addition to its healthy offerings, Human Bean actively promotes acceptance and creates a safe space for everyone. They support the LGBTQ community and are friendly with everyone who walks through their doors. Human Bean Coffee & Tea at Cityplace Mall is hands down my go-to coffee spot in Winnipeg! Every morning, I stop by for my favorite drink—the Headbanger, and let me tell you, it does exactly what the name suggests! It’s the perfect jolt of energy to get me going for the day. Strong, smooth, and just what I need to wake up.

What makes this place even better is the amazing staff. They are always super friendly and welcoming, and they remember my drink order every single day! There’s something special about walking in and having them greet me like a regular—it makes my mornings so much better.
