When you walk into Dino’s, the first thing that catches your eye is the spacious dining room and the large mural of the Santorini coastline. At first, it almost feels like the artwork is the only Greek influence, but once you look through the menu, you’ll find a handful of Greek-inspired options tucked in among the familiar North American comfort foods. What I Recommend: The Gyro Pizza with a side of cheese balls. The cheese balls are easily one of the highlights. They taste freshly made, with a thin, golden-brown crust that shatters when you bite into it. Inside, the cheese is molten and creamy, with just the right amount of saltiness to keep you reaching for the next one. They’re best served piping hot—the shell stays crisp and the cheese keeps its pull. Once they cool, the texture softens and they lose some of that magic, so I’d suggest eating them right away. The Gyro Pizza was a pleasant surprise. The “small” is bigger than expected, and it comes generously topped with gyro meat, juicy tomato slices, and plenty of melted cheese. The meat itself has that classic gyro seasoning—savory with hints of oregano and garlic—which pairs well with the tanginess of the tomatoes. The crust is sturdy enough to hold the toppings without being tough. It has a light chew, though I found the edge of the crust a little plain; a touch more seasoning or char would elevate it. Still, the balance of flavors across the toppings carries the pizza nicely. The service was excellent. Our server was friendly, attentive, and even suggested her favorite dip to pair with the cheese balls—which turned out to be spot on. If you’re after good food with generous portions and welcoming service, Dino’s is worth the visit, whether you’re coming with a friend or bringing the whole family.

We found this lovely family restaurant by chance when we were in Woodstock and we were immediately welcomed by the owner and we sat in the massive banquet area at the back of the restaurant in total comfort! We ordered all Greek inspired dishes including chicken souvlaki, gyro pizza and their massive gyro panzerotto! All of the dishes were cooked beautifully and Incredibly flavorful and all extremely generously sized so come hungry! The gyro panzerotto was especially delicious as the breading was not greasy whatsoever yet the filling was piping hot. Having a rich luscious tzatziki sauce to dip really hit the spot we all had a really great time and hope to come and sample more delicacies next time we are in town!

We were there for lunch on a Sunday. The place was quiet but I suspect it was only because of the day and time we were there. The food was fantastic! Everyone with us enjoyed their meals, and there were no complaints by any among us. Everyone was friendly, from the server to the owner and his family. If you are looking for a fancy dining experience, this is not it. If you want amazing Greek food, this is definitely the place to be.

We can't believe our luck. Looking for a place to have lunch while driving through Woodstock and came across this gem. I was impressed with the menu choices online so we decided to stop. Best decision ever. There is so much to choose from off the menu. We went with the mushrooms as an appetizer. An amazing choice. We ordered the Dinos deluxe pizza, so fresh and so tasty. So much toppings and a perfect crust. The cheese just made it over the top. French fries were big and crispy and meaty. Perfect to dip into the delicious gravy. They are licensed so a beer went perfectly with the pizza. The chicken souvlaki was so authentic and delicious. Paired with a glass of red wine. They are doing it right. Not only amazing food but great atmosphere and you feel like you are eating with family. We will be back, and not just when we are passing through. This calls for a special road trip just...

Went here yesterday after driving all the way to Woodstock to pick up something off Kijiji in the area. Decided to get food with my boyfriend in this area and we decided to go into Dino’s. We live closer to Toronto (urban and drivers) so as we are visibly coloured, my boyfriend being brown and me, asian, were a bit worried we might be outcasts in this predominantly white area. We thought we would only get takeout but as we walked in we were greeted quite kindly by the staff (although we did get constant stares by the patrons). The staff were incredibly accommodating and made sure we were very comfortable being there and encouraged us to even dine in! We decided to and they were surprisingly very thoughtful and courteous towards us. It was an honest joy to dine there. If we’re ever in this area again, I will not hesitate to dine here. Food was also great!...
