Rishtedar in Santiago was an incredible dining experience, full of vibrant flavors and a warm atmosphere. From the moment we stepped in, the rich aromas of Indian spices set the mood for an unforgettable meal.
We started with Johar-e-Motia, and wow—the taste was absolutely awesome. The flavors were bold yet balanced, making it a perfect appetizer to kick things off. Then came the Achari Murgh Tikka, cooked to perfection with just the right amount of tangy pickle spices, paired with soft, aromatic basmati rice—every bite was a delight. My wife opted for Chole Bhature, and the dish was just as impressive. The chickpeas were full of rich, comforting flavors, and the bhature were light yet crispy—the ideal combination.
To complement our meal, we ordered Pisco Sour and Chile Chai. The Pisco Sour had a refreshing citrus kick, while the Chile Chai brought a soothing warmth with its blend of spices. Both drinks perfectly rounded out the dining experience.
Beyond the food, the restaurant's inviting ambiance and attentive service made our evening even more enjoyable. We savored every moment, and without a doubt, Rishtedar is a place we'd love to return to for another...

I usually don't write reviews but had to this time around. I was traveling to Santiago for work and went to the restaurant for dinner with colleague. We ordered some food and after a while I discovered that my laptop bag disappeared from my table. Someone came sat behind me and stole it away from inside the restaurant.
I don't speak the language but I was hoping that restaurant would help just a little with CCTV footage or something else (which they said they can't help with when asked). It also seemed like it wasn't the first time it happened there. Unfortunately, I had my wallet, laptop, immigration papers, and some valuables taken with laptop bag, which caused tremendous trouble.
I probably would not go there again, my recommendation for restaurant would be to work on security and actually use it...
Read moreMy experience here was a disaster.
I ordered a chicken kebab starter and a main course with naan. They served both together, and by the time I got to the naan it had become hard and cold. I left it uneaten. A disaster.
The chicken kebab starter itself was overcooked and hard and chewy. Another disaster.
The last item I ordered was a chicken biryani. The chef should be hung, drawn and quartered for what he served in the name of biryani, because what I got was some kind of cream chicken khichdi instead, with no raita. An unmitigated disaster.
And to top it off when I asked for raita I was offered kachumber. Okay I said, give me kachumber, which by definition is chopped - the word kachumber itself means chopped. But no, I got a few sliced onions and green peppers instead.
What a disaster and disappointing...
