Posh and Tranquil Luxury!
Part of the Hilton Chain's stylish Tapestry Collection OLA Santiago is a chic, modern hotel located in the Providencia district. With its stylish décor and warm ambiance, it offers a boutique feel while delivering dependable Hilton amenities and Luxury elements.
LOCATION: Situated in Santiago’s Providencia neighborhood, the hotel benefits from its proximity to the Costanera Center and nearby subway stations, making it ideal for exploring the city and accessing local eateries and shops. On the downside, it can feel a bit far from the historical center, requiring a metro ride to reach major attractions like Plaza de Armas.
DINE + DRINK: The lobby-level bar is pretty cool and chic and comes stocked with a wide range of beverages. Great for a pre-drink or a late evening night cap. The Breakfast was a pretty boring affair with the usual cliched items in the buffet!
ROOM: We stayed in Room 1000, which was a JUNIOR SUITE , so this review is based on that; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults with a partitioned Living area with a sofa and a bedroom area; VIEW: Lovely view of the ANDES and the buildings nearby; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM: Good sized bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Excellent Spa Quality Toiletries
FACILITIES: Compact Gym with a basic range of weights and Cardio machines. A stylish outdoor swimming pool that is heated enough for a nice swim.
SERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout-out to the front desk staff and the folks at the bar for attending to all our special requirements with a big smile!
HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is acceptable! Big Smart TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in multiple languages - one each in both the living area and the...
Read moreThe hotel is quite dated. The rooms are so sparsely equipped that they feel empty and cold. The hotel provides two TVS in the room, but no outlet anywhere close to the desk. The service was also not great. I tried my best to save water and energy by hanging up my towels, as advised on the signs posted in the room. But every day, my towels were changed. And every day I had fewer towels. After Day 2, I didn't have a bathroom mat anymore. Moreover, the coffee pods were never refilled when the room was cleaned. The breakfast was mediocre. Lots of carbs, not much variety. Slow elevators. Finally, I had issues with the front desk staff. My suitcase was lost in transit and then delivered to the hotel. I asked the front desk staff whether the suitcase had been delivered and was told that it had not. Only after I called the delivery agency and was told that they had delivered the suitcase did the staff actually look for it and found it stored in an office. I would expect an immediate call when the luggage is delivered; or better yet, immediate delivery...
Read moreWe stayed at this hotel in Providencia, Santiago de Chile, and overall had a good experience. The best part was definitely the location—very convenient, with lots of restaurants, stores, and public transport options just a short walk away.
The hotel itself is modern and clean, and our room had everything we needed. We did have an issue with the minibar not working, but as soon as we reported it, it was fixed quickly, which we appreciated.
Breakfast was just okay—not amazing, but not bad either. It was a typical buffet with enough variety to start the day.
The only downside was the front desk staff, who weren’t particularly warm or customer-focused. On the other hand, the housekeeping team was much friendlier and more welcoming.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel. It’s a solid choice in a great neighborhood, and we had a...
