Los Porteños 2 — Restaurant in Valparaíso

With great nostalgia and sadness I write this review as it is a must, I had great memories of this restaurant "Los porteños" every single trip we ever did to valparaiso was always topped off with a visit to this place, where the food was always abundant and most importantly fresh! Fast forward several years and I have brought my own family from abroad to lunch, speaking of the goodness of this place. What a huge let down, the food took forever to arrive at our table, The standard below average, and my husbands mariscal frio was all out of a can and not fresh! Incredible that they think people would not realise! Massive let down, high prices I truly feel ripped off, not to mention they impose like as if it were mandatory the tip of close to $6000 pesos. 2 stars for our waitress who was attentive , other than that this place is a huge flop, stear clear, Many other wonderful places to eat nearby Hence, we will not be returning A shame, and in my opinion, the end...

It was quite difficult to find a seafood restaurant during our stay in Valparaiso. We finally decided to go here because we saw many people eating inside.

We ordered delicious do mar. And when the food arrived, I was surprised that it was boiled seafood. Honestly I did not like because it has no taste. My partner ate himself. We ordered a salad as the companion. I also did not really like the taste. The service is quite fast. The lady was also nice and friendly. The price of the coca cola was too expensive. PESIMO . Pedi libro de reclamos y sugerencia pero me lo negaron ... por lo cual traves de uds espero que hacerlo. Esta marisqueria no es lugar para recomendar... fui con mi esposo y mi hija de 12 años a almorzar mi esposo pidio una taza de cafe y el azucarero lo dejaron de mi hija cuando ella tomo azucare para pasarlo a mi esposo el azucarero tenia mal cerrada la tapa y cayo sobre taza de agua caliente azucarero de vidrio quemandose mi hija el brazo y esposo. La niña quedo con tapa en la mano. Los lleve al baño a mojarse con agua fria. El mozo seco las cosas pero nadie se acerco a saber como estan ni por la niña tuvieron empatia. Pedi hielo por q nadie me ofrecio nada. Cuando pedi cuenta pedi libro de reclamo para sugerir mas cuidados pero la encargada de forma petulante me respondio " No trabajamos con libro de reclamos y accidente fue algo fortuito" ... Cero empatia con el cliente ni por la niña ni una disculpa o trataremos de que esto no volvera a suceder. Pague cuenta y me fui decepcionada. Uno no busca solo almorzar tambien buena atencion lugar comodo y agradable para FAMILIA y un poco empatia mas cuando hay accidente y un niño involucrado. NUNCA MAS a ese lugar sin contar que las sillas en mal estado! Espero que jamas ni dueños de marisqueria ni la sra encargada se quemen con agua caliente ni sus hijos y tengan gente empatica con el dolor de los demas para que aprendan a ser mas atentos y considerados con la clientela.. que no solo nos vean como consumidores que los hacen ganar dinero si que somos personas y niños que confiaron en ir donde vuestros restaurat a pasar un momento agradable. NO LO RECOMIENDO Pesima experiencia...
