The shower floor was filthy, with cracks in the tiles and grout missing. This is the breeding place for bacteria, Using this shower, you could be certain to catch any foot/toe nail disease. my wife and I refused to have a shower that night even after a 16 hour flight to get there. The timber floor was dirty and tacky and my wife's bare feet and my white sports socks were black after only a few steps. The wall between the bedroom and the bathroom is only a partition and does NOT go all the way to the ceiling. So any sounds or odours penetrate to the bedroom. This is disgusting and unhealthy. We paid the price of an extra 5,000 Paeso for breakfast. But the two folded slices of ham and cheese on the individual plates were out of the refrigerator for over 3 hours and uncovered and not prepared with gloved hands or with use of tongs. The temperature in the below street level room was very hot and the uncovered food was exposed to dust and airborne bacteria as well. when I asked for a refund of the 5,000 Paesco, it was refused on the basis that I selected breakfast option and if I refuse to eat that is MY problem and not his. This man then became hostile and aggressive. I will allow you to make your decision if you wish to compromise your health and well being by staying at this hotel.||NOTE : I agree with the other comments made by other people re this hotel. This hotel is in a plaza with nearby night venues that are very loud and the noisy/boisterous patrons spill on to the streets till 3 and 4 am in...
Read moreWe stayed here two nights Friday & Saturday. The rooms are clean, staff is friendly and beds are comfortable. Our Friday night stay was great. However the following night at 1am Saturday night Club Infinity (which we knew nothing about) opened and we were awakened by techno music BLARING and the bass shook our room. I complained and asked for a new room and was told the hotel was fully booked and there was nothing they could do. This is downright shameful that they rent these corner rooms out on Saturday nights when they know full well no one in those rooms are going to be able to sleep. I’m guessing in the center rooms the music isn’t as loud. It’s currently 4:11am as I write this and we are still waiting for the music to stop so we can go to sleep. Luckily Hotels.com has given us a full refund, but we have a 6 hour drive tomorrow that is going to be miserable. Guests should be warned and offered a discount whenever this club is open. I can hear the people above me moving around so I know they are not sleeping either. The club wasn’t open last night (Friday night) not sure if that’s every Friday night, but definitely AVOID ON...
Read moreI stayed for 2 nights.|Upsides: Service was great, we booked a room with 2 spare beds but none were available so they gave us separate rooms free of charge the first night. And they carried our very heavy suitcases up the stairs for us.|Also the location on the central square is tops. And the building has lots of history and character: high ceilings, woodwork etc. |Plus, we got a free show one night when newly graduated cadets of the fire station across the square were welcomed to the team with sirens and water showers. Unique. |Downsides: the room I was in the first night had no hot water (that may be fixed by now). But most of all, the walls - and floors - are very, very thin so you can hear your neighbours. The ones I had the second night came in late, woke up for a midnight snack and one had a laugh reminiscent of a goat that defied even earplugs.|So, 3...
