Hostal Los Poetas — Hotel in Valparaíso

When entering the to the street where the guesthouse is located I'm impressed, Tomas Ramos is a murals street. Although murals are viewable overall in Valparaiso, Hostal Los Poetas has an impressive mural on their own. ||The minus point of the guesthouse has no sign outside we had to find by its house number||The owner is friendly she speak a little English, I ask immediately their private parking because we hindrance the street. She open the gate with a key the parking is not so big but at least is secured||Each room has a name with number our room called Ruben 5. Not all room has ensuite bathroom. We book an ensuite room other rooms are shared bathroom||All rooms are upstairs spacious with parquet floor, one big bed , tv with cable channels, free wifi in room||Bathroom is spacious tile floor, shower, small lavabo, towels||Communal kitchenette is downstairs with microwave, fridge and untensils. Also where self service breakfast in the morning which included the room price||For the price of 45US dollar plus tax is not so bad for a guesthouse and the location is near the center. I’m almost 50 and this is my first time at a hostal. The staff, owners and other guests are very friendly. The kitchen and rooms are clean. The location is second to none. This place has a really good vibe. On the downside, the wifi is a bit hit and miss and drops out a lot. When we went to the hostel, the owner told us that they are doing some kind of construction work and we can not spend the night there.
