After our relaxing spa session, we decided to take a stroll down Chongqing Haochi Street. The street is lively and full of color, with plenty of neon signs, small shops, and a buzz of activity that makes it very photogenic. Definitely a great spot for taking some pictures and soaking in the local tourist atmosphere.
However, I was advised by locals not to eat here. Most of the food stalls cater primarily to tourists, and locals rarely dine here. Prices are noticeably higher, and the food doesn’t quite match authentic Chongqing flavors. While it’s fun to walk around and experience the atmosphere, I wouldn’t recommend this street for serious foodies seeking genuine local cuisine.
