Perfect for IG post but dont expect to be wowed by their coffee.

Was told this place have good coffee and their drip bag set was pretty good so decided to make a trip out there for afternoon tea and have dinner near the coffee shop as well. It was hot and rainy that day so what better than trying out their 2 signature cold drinks. One was called "Gone nuts" had condensed milk, peanut butter and coconut milk. The other one was "Salty and Wet" which was coffee with preserved salted lemon.

The one with peanut butter was seriously a let down. It didnt taste like anything, not sweet, not nutty, not coconuty. just coffee with milk and some chalky texture. It was seriously a mess and not enjoyable at all. Salty and Wet was better, Citrus and coffee do match pretty well together. The added saltiness of the preserved lemon do provide something extra and befitting of the name.

After being let down by the "Gone Nuts" drink, and still early for dinner, we ordered a second round of drinks and some snacks. We ordered a Colombian hand drip coffee which had a claimed flavor note of fruit punch, mixed berries, and red guava. Thought it would be very fruity and enjoyable so we ordered that along with a half portion of parma ham and cheese panini. I was expecting half portion mean half of a sandwich, but they actually gave me 2 "triangle" pieces. They served the panini with honey so it was quite enjoyable. The hand drip coffee on the other hand was another let down. It basically had non of the flavor note it claim it had. It was all just bitter over extracted coffee. Even cooling it down to room temperature did not taste or smelled like what they described.

We were quite fed up with the quality of the coffee served and rather paying for another cup and wait for dinner time, we decided to leave and have an early...

I’ve been here twice. All good with the coffee. They got unique variety. This time a kiddo with ten holes on his ears insisted that I couldn’t have the Timor Leste drip coffee with a side of milk just because I couldn’t. Walked out and will never come back again. Typical new Hong Kong 弟弟 so cocksure of their stupidity and low EQ. Could have told me that he’d give me a side of milk but that I’d try it black first. LMAO. The rest of staff...

Truly disappointed!!!!!! The worst dining experience in my neighbourhood. I just finished my lunch and I have been wanting to try this cafe, the pistachio creme brulee caught my eyes. When I ordered the food, I got told the minimum spending is a drink. Yet the creme brulee costs way more than the espresso. What I got told is just hell NO, YOU NEED TO ORDER A DRINK. With this kind of service, I am not sure how...

After watching the documentary of Ah Jeng (a local talented DJ) on her journey to open this shop, I came and ordered this, “The Salty and Wet”. It is a glass of espresso tonic but surprisingly with salted kumquat and dried lemon which lifts the taste to another level, making it very suitable for hot weather like Hong Kong. I guess this is her way to support other local food brands.

We came here after lunch for specialty coffee and a bit of dessert. Nice, fresh deco. It's a personal taste whether the graphics all around were appealing! Certainly an added value if you happened to like the skincare products on display. The coffees and dessert we had were good. In general, a pleasant and casual place for hanging out with friends. Not busy on weekdays.
