Just wanted to have breakfast today at the newly renovated branch in Wanchai. I was not able to find the croissants, so I asked the staff where i can find them. In a very rude way, they told me that the croissants are âsold outâ and it will take at least one hour to bake new ones. So basically it means that the staff hasnât paid attention to their stock and they have not started baking fresh croissants early enough. Instead of apologising for their carelessness, they simply told me to choose âsomething elseâ! They have clearly not understood that a bakery shop without croissants is completely useless! Especially because there are several different places around which all sell croissants. So I left and had breakfast with my wife in a different place - I had 2 freshly baked croissants and I was served in a very friendly manner. Since that wasnât the first negative experience I had with Eric Kayser and its incompetent & rude staff, I have decided to erase their places from my to-go-list. There are simply too many other good breakfast places in Wanchai, that I need to go to a restaurant where you are not treated like youâre welcome there! Eric Kayser -...
Read moreI wish to share with you of my and my relatives experiences with the Eric Kayser in their Wanchai shop at 248 QRE. Their staff are generally rude to customers especially to local customers. They discriminate people if the customers speak local language. It was not only one single incident but we had few bad experiences that their supervisor shout at us. They showed long faces at cashier desk or when they serve customers in the restaurant. I wish to bring their management attention to their staff's bad work attitude, unprofessional and discriminate customers. We pay the same regardless our races and languages. Eric Kayser hires non Chinese workers as they might think their shops are visited by foreign customers more than Chinese. Their staff are not well trained or perhaps they hire the wrong lead that has affected their overall services. The other shop near Star street does not have bad staff like the one near Dai Sang Bank on QRE. It was not only my own experiences but my relatives visited the same shop had experienced the same, rude and impolite to them...
Read moreEasy to find location. Loved the spread of baked goods and healthy juices. There are indications of each item based on the symbols on the displayed allergens guide. The menu has mix & match sets to suit your meal plan or hunger level. Friendly service. Seats are comfortable and there are several power points. WiFi was great too. Noise level is minimal and respectful. This makes a great place to get some work done while consuming some of their healthier options or a quick sweet treat. I had the Salmon & Chia Seed Sandwich, Caramel Eclair and a purple juice. Was so filling and healthy, with a sinfully sweet treat ending. Now looking back at my photos, maybe I should have gone for the creme brulee. Would come back to try a few other menu items while...
