This is one of my favorite shanghai cuisine in Hong Kong. Smoke eggs, pan fried dumpling and marinated jelly fish are all must ordered item. Shanghai style vege and sliced pork fry rice cake is perfectly cooked. The best dessert from the hidden menu which only reserved for loyal customers like me~ haha. That is “caramelized deep fry banana” ! 😋 I usually bring 2 pieces of banana 🍌🍌. And the chef will tailor made and deep fry for me. Then the manager will served with syrup and soaked them into iced cream-soda very quickly. Then it will be caramized and become very crunchy from the surface and deep fried banana were sweet and soft. Its the best and amazing dessert in their hidden menu. I would suggest you to book in advance. Otherwise u will miss this hidden gems in this restaurant😎. Thank you all the waiters. They are very attentive and smart. They are working here at least 15-20 years. They always give me warm welcome like home. I m sure i will come again very soon and at least once a...

Amazing authentic Shanghai food! Everything we got was amazing. Starting with the beancurd roll or vegetarian goose, tender beancurd with crunchy and well seasoned vegetables. The tofu skin with edamame is a labor intensive dish that was executed beautifully! Had to order one to go as well. Another well executed dish was the stir fry yellow eels in a delicious sauce that isn’t overtly sweet or salty. Highly recommend!

Tofu stew with shepards purse is light and satisfying whilst the scallion pancake is slightly crispy and very tender, not a drop of oil in sight! Cabbage and pork wontons also done classically well.

Service is very good too. Nice and friendly and can help with decision paralysis. The appetizers i liked too. Especially the soy marinated radish. Crunchy! Expensive but...

This is a great place for Shanghai gourmet. The food is very authentic and well seasoned and good thing is don't feel any major MSG. The cold dishes are all yummy and much bigger than expected. The braised pork was a must try and this dish is very reasonably priced with the time and effort that it needs to be out in too. The only dish that may need a bit of improvement is the turnip cake which if more layers and ligjter will be better. The service here is really very sweet, when we found we ordered too much, they were very willing to cancel for us without any question asked. The only thing is it is a bit overcrowded, maybe because it's popularity too but would be better if tables can be spared out a bit especially in the...
