Farm House Restaurant — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

Place looked like a old Binondo hub refurbished with white table tops. Service was attentive and very warm despite having very few English speaking staff.

Appetizers were served and they were tasty. Pickled butter gourd and Charsui trotters, if I am not mistaken. Oolong tea was free flowing. Ordered the Crispy wings, Fish maw soup, Pork in XO, Yangchow rice and Mango with black gelatin.

We were after HKs favourite dish, sweet and sour pork, this Michelin star restaurant didn’t disappoint, the pork was tender and crispy covered in a sweet sauce, also ordered Black mushroom, bean curd & vegetables, I enjoyed this dish the sauce was tasty but had a gluey consistency, not sure if that’s the way it should be.
