Had high hopes, but this turned out to be another mediocre Korean restaurant in HK.
The menu looked promising…not your typical “we-have-everything” Korean restaurant. But unfortunately, the execution didn’t deliver.
Some dishes were overly intense — too sweet, too salty, and lacking the balance you’d expect from authentic Korean food (which is very hard to find in HK..). For example, LA galbi shouldn’t be doused in teriyaki-ish sauce after it’s been grilled. I honestly don’t think the food would be competitive in Korea… but I guess we’re in HK, so alas maybe my hopes were too high.
Service seemed well-meaning but clearly needs improvement. The restaurant would benefit from a more experienced floor manager. And basics like 앞접시 (small sharing plates) should be standard, especially when serving dumplings or shared dishes.
Lastly, the space isn’t designed for tabletop BBQ. My observation was that there’s no proper ventilation (at least not enough for K-BBQ), so if anyone in the restaurant orders BBQ, welp you will smell like smoke. Unless they upgrade the setup, it might be smarter to do all the grilling in the kitchen.
Wishing the team the best, but I won’t be returning. My search for an authentic Korean restaurant in HK continues…

Customers can place their belongings in the box/basket under the chair. --- 6.6/10 Service: to be seated. Possibly share table with strangers. Most tables had a jar of ginseng tea, salt & pepper. Needed to ask them to clean the table. She brushed the crumb to the floor and cleaned the table with detergent. Scan QR code at the table to read menu and place orders Food served fast. Told to get utensils and tissues from the drawer. The waitress (with glasses) showed a bit better manner & attitude --- 6.5/10 F&B: Menu in multiple languages with food photos. Normal presentation. the restaurant is in no where the same as pictures on ig. it seems like a fast food place where you are apparently made to find your own seats only to then stand around and wait for them to clean.
easily the worst korean meal we’ve ever had in HK.
the portions are sizable but everything is done mediocre.
we had the pork bone soup which was not flavorful and not hot. normally the pork bones should have meat but this one was maybe 85% bones.
we had the cold noodles. the soup was terrible tasting they also didn’t have the normal mustard and vinegar that would have gone with it. the pork bulgogi was cold when it arrived and we sent it back. it came back within a minute and no surprise it was still not hot.
we ate maybe 1/4 of the food and left. will never be back.
waste of $300.
the aircon was also dusty and the...
