I ordered a long black, but it was so weak that I thought I was drinking plain water. I asked the waiter why it was so diluted, and she said I ordered a single shot. Then I checked the app and realized I had misunderstood. There were originally three options; two of them were double shots costing an extra 5 HKD, and the last option was a single shot—if you didn’t choose anything, it defaulted to the standard double shot. I thought I had to pick one option, so I chose single shot, and that’s why it was as weak as water. I asked if I could have a shot on the side to add to my coffee myself (I didn’t even ask for a new one to be made), but she said no because of the cost issues. I told her the default was double shot anyway, I just wanted the standard, meaning two shots. So why was there a cost problem? Then another waiter came over and said it wasn’t about the cost, it was because once the drink was served, it couldn’t be changed. He told me to order a separate espresso for 30 HKD. I was willing to pay more, but even for a single shot, the coffee shouldn’t taste like water. I lost confidence in their coffee, so I didn’t order anything else. For food, I ordered the most expensive slow-cooked pork, which cost over 200 HKD, but it was as dry and tough as pork jerky. The sauce was also very bland, with no flavor at all. When it came to paying, the waiter gave me a poker face. Well… I get it. I asked why the meal was so expensive, and then he frowned as he collected the money. Don’t worry, you won’t see me again as a customer who’s so hard to please, because honestly, there won’t be...

A Milanese-style coffee bar that serves up classic, dark-roast Italian coffee with a nutty and ashy flavor that leaves a strong aftertaste. The only drawback was that the shot seemed a bit over-extracted, which was evident from the crema.

Staff here were friendly and welcoming. The retro-style interiors, geometric flooring patterns and vibrant, colorful Memphis style graphics on the ceiling, created a vintage yet lively atmosphere.

But when it comes to dessert, the apple and cinnamon cake didn't quite hit the mark. It was overly sweet (that vanilla sauce was unnecessary) and didn't live up to the standard of a mini loaf cake priced at HKD68. This pricing strategy seemed a bit out of sync with similar treats offered at their branches in SYP, Wan Chai, and...

Absolutely rubbish staff. It was a Saturday morning and there were less than ten guests. Seated and wait for the QR code to order, non existent. I had to go to the bar/cashier to asked the lady to give me that and she’s like oh come on just wait at your table. Bloody hell I have waited for over five minutes was it that hard to print that out. Made my order eventually and planned to leave within 45 minutes, waited for 15, there were like 4 staff members and none of them seemed to be working… they were just chatting and did not pay any attention to their surroundings… with this service quality how could one enjoy the food and beverage… let alone it’s mediocre… not worth the wait in this shop with...

The place is chilled and worth to spend a lazy afternoon there, rare place in Hong Kong which got a slow pace and chilling vibe in a busy weekday. We are group of 3, and got there at 12:00, you can get a table easily. We order gnocchi with anchovies, saffron risotto and spring chicken. Gnocchi is highly recommend, not too chewy of flour-ish gnocchi, very yum. Risotto is great too. Chicken is great and tender. Coffee is their signature, so it never goes wrong. We order the cream sandwich for dessert. Cream is sosososososo fresh is creamy, the bun has a touch of lemon favour. We have a great time at coffeelin.
