Japanese Wagyu Yakiniku Pure (Causeway Bay) — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

Quite a high quality Yakiniku (BBQ Japanese) restaurant. Comfortable place, decent view facing the Leighton Hill in CWB. Relatively small in space vs their TST branch but cozy. Staff are attentive and nice.

Beef quality is always maintained above average compared to other BBQ shops. Beef is freshly cut with fatty pattern. Never see any beef slice turning dark or blood.

You can taste beef from various parts of Japan here. Lunch menu is cheaper than the dinner menu, however, the restaurant will provide you much better quality of beef to you. Dinning in the restaurant is like you are taking Yakiniku in Japan.

Highly recommeded Yakiniku restaurant.

Food was great in general especially the seafood stone pot rice. Ordered 1288 platter and all the different parts of the beef were super tender. It was like chewing marshmallow. Tempura were crispy when served and batter coated perfectly

The only downside is as spacious as the restaurant looks, the table is quite small. Seated quite uncomfortably because your feet would be kicking the metal compartment of the stove under the table...

Quite decent priced yakiniku lunch sets, seating is quite comfortable; portion size and quality of the meat is reasonable for it’s price. Service feels quite rushed, they will clear out the dishes the minute you stop cooking/ eating which was a bit annoying especially when you just wanna relax and enjoy the meals with friends.
