🇮🇩 Having lived in Indonesia for a collective 8+ years in the past, I’m especially a stickler for authenticity in my Indonesian cuisine - ie. the flavours and the spice MUST NOT be toned down to suit local palates, the eatery needs to be unapologetic of its authentic recipes and serve them as it would as if in Indonesia!
🍛 There are no shortages of “Indonesian” restaurants in Hong Kong 🇭🇰, especially in the Causeway Bay area.. and quite a handful have good 4+ ratings on Google. The drink Es Campur was a treat to have. It included tapioca pearls and jelly, coconut milk, ice, and syrups, and was one of the most delicious drinks I've ever had. Definitely a place worth visiting...
