Dinner at harvest house!

This is a nice and cozy restaurant with a good japanese vibe.

We ordered the following items from their online menu which are all really decent!

We had the sashimi set, all the fishes are really fresh, and definitely no need any seasoning to eat, its already so fresh!

We also had their beef tongue. This is amazing, the beef is tender, and juicy on the inside. It has the strong and good beef tongue taste, and also have the at umami flavor for us to taste!

We also had the Shrimp roll! This is one of my favorite roll, and they have that perfect and seasoning combination between the rice, the shrimp and other seasonings inside, making it sweet, and savory at the same time! good to eat with /without soy sauce.

We also had the Spicy salmon, which is really flavorful! the seasoning in the salmon combined with the fresh salmon itself, alongside the seaweed and the sushi rice is a great combination of spicy and savory and a bit of sweet!

We also had their tuna roll, which is similar to their shrimp roll in a sense that the combination of flavor inside is perfectly balanced and the roll itself doesnt feel too heavy to eat!

We also have the squid, which is surprisingly really tender and juicy, and fishy at all! a really nice cooked squid!

We then have the spicy tuna, and also the tuna toro with spring onion. The tuna is high quality, fresh and is a great combination with spring onion, really make a unique but good combination.

We also ordered the seared salmon, one in normal sushi style and another one is flower salmon. I think this is one of the dish of the night! the salmon is fresh, and when its seared it tasted even better, and without any soy sauce you can taste already all the juicyness and umami flavor coming out from the salmon!

Lastly, we also ordered the peach oolong tea cocktail! which is very refreshing, and have a mild alcohol taste, which is a good combo of alcohol and nicely...

Went to this Japanese resto in Causeway Bay with my friends before one of them embarked on her journey to Canada. . We shared the following dishes: -Deluxe Sashimi Set (HKD618) The set included Japanese-style abalone, scallop, semi-fatty tuna, tuna, yellowtail, jumbo red shrimp and salmon. The sashimi slices were thick and very meaty. They were fresh, subtly sweetness and I particularly enjoyed the rich fattiness of the semi-fatty tuna.

-Hokkaido Geoduck Sashimi (HKD680-HKD338) The geoduck sashimi was pleasantly chewy. Its meat was sweet, esp the gallbladder, which had a soft texture. The yuzu vinegar enhanced their umami.

-Seasonal Oyster (HKD290-HKD145) We ordered a half dozen of seasonal oysters, which were from the Iwate Prefecture. They had a rich seawater flavour and intense aftertaste. They were smooth and succulent, esp refreshing when paired with cocktail sauce.

-Home-made Fried Egg2 (HKD252) The sweet fried eggs were firm with a soft interior, with the name of the resto engraved on them.

-Japanese Udon (HKD35) Not particularly memorable. . If you are planning to celebrate a special occasion for your family or friends, the resto offers a free draw plate service. . The resto is spacious, clean and tidy. It's a nice place for meeting friends and...

The variety of set meals here is impressive, ranging from sushi and sashimi to grilled dishes and rice bowls. Each set even comes with seaweed miso soup, chawanmushi, and salad!

My friend and I tried the draft beer and Hainanese Chicken combo ($138). Imagine this: two frosty Kirin Ichiban beers (500ml), smoked Hainanese chicken sashimi, slow-cooked chicken kidneys, and grilled chicken liver. It was incredibly satisfying 🍻🐓

The deluxe seafood rice bowl set ($368) was packed with sashimi—salmon, tuna, scallops, yellowtail, pond smelt, and even abalone and sea urchin 🤤 The vinegared rice was spot on, and the portion was huge! If you're not a big eater, sharing it with a friend is the way to go 🐟🍚

They also offer seasonal seafood specials. We ordered the mackerel sashimi ($278) and the snow crab ($198), and both were refreshingly delicious! The snow crab, actually a female Matsuba crab, had crab roe that was as delightful as the crab meat itself 🦀

To finish, the Japanese-imported whole peach shaved ice ($58) was sweet and light, while the coconut shaved ice ($48) was rich and smooth—both were the...
