Shalimar Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

This is my Review in 2019 Truly Indian test restaurant in Hong Kong .................................................................... Now I am revising on 22nd Jan 2023.

Now Restaurant changed to New Management (After my last visit oct 2022), this is Global system that any business concern change management for better services and improvement.

But here is the situation is different.

I am visiting this restaurant from past 5 years, earlier Guest was welcomed by Soup or Mango or one Chat type water.

But now here 1st time in 5 Years I charges for PAPED, it's shocking.

Normal water for drinking disconnected and explanation that water is not pure so we are selling packed water bottle and kept price as low as 12$. ............But very funny same water bottle in down stairs are available in 3-5$.

Very Much Disappointment.

Seems I have to find another...

The food here is great l, near to my 9ffice so isually end up eating here, set menu for lunches include a wide variety of stuff like, Pabeer mutter, Chicken Masala, Fish Curry, Beef Curry, Biryanis(Chicken, Lamb or Vegetable), al9ng with that in drinks include tea or coffee based on your selection, they serve the soup of the day too which is usually Mushroom cream soup and I like it, Sometimes it is difficult to grab a seat, but usually we find one as we go in early...

Won't say it's a great place.... Between average and good. Food was okay but service during busy hours was very poor. They served us the wrong order and after the food lying on table for over 5 mins the waiter just took it and kept it on the next table 😀 We ordered 6 lassis and one came within 2 mins the rest took 15... I am guessing same case. It took them 30 mins to serve the standard set Lunch (we were 10 of us) still not beating the biggest crowd in...
