BBQ Pork Puff Pastry is yummyy others just soso with warm service haa
Today is so packed, and every table is booked but so luckily i got the window table haaa, thank you, cause my table is close to the entry so there is a pillar blocking a bit of seaview, but still so open wide, and you can see the swimming pool in whole, so sad i can’t go swim why close in winter time sadddd, id say the food quality of dim sum buffet is just soso except few dishes are good, and the service is super friendly, nice and helpful here,so proactive helping you filling your tea haaa, warm experience heree yaya, and with strong ancient chinese environment, and i like hanging lamps on the ceiling looking cool, such a enjoyable dinning today haa, so fullll
Signature Abalone tart disappointed me a bit, i like the yummy tart but maybe i’m not a fan of abalone and this one like can abalone, quite plastic id say, just soso, but indeed the tart tastes good, with some mushrooms ingredients, not bad
The soup tastes good, and they didn’t put any MSG insides which is good, quite sweet, it’s the first one i wanna have another bowl lolll
Chilled jelly fish with sliced cucumber, the cucumber tastes better than i’ve expected, pretty chewy and fresh
Roasted BBQ Pork tastes okay but actually not outstanding, even fat ratio is nice, though the texture isn’t so soft it can easily melt in your mouth, but just like the one you can easily buy in siu mei shop lolll
Roasted Pork Belly not having really good fat ratio, pretty thin actually, only good thing is crispy skin
Siu mai is ok laaa, having some mushroom tastes, but no shrimps insides at all, the standard is lower than the one i usually have sad, the quality is a bit low
Steamed shrimp dumpling with not too thick skin, though not moisturizing enough, a bit dry for the skin, but this one already good from other dim sum
Steamed Egg custard bun tastes quite sweet, but you can’t even find any egg yolk insides actually, which is the essence of the whole dim sum, feeling so hard to find good one since ive left school missing school cha liu so sadd, even this one having so many custard ingredients, though the taste is so light, and the sauce not smooth, simply not the same thing, the best ive have having oily sauce melting out, here itd be better they making the egg custard richer sadddd
Shrimps dumplings in superior soup having three big watons, having really big shrimps insides, the quality is nicee, tasting yummy with sliced black fungus
Baked BBQ pork puff pastry with seasame surprised me in very good way, super soft pastry and yummy bbq pork insides, very recommended one, simply attractive haaa, finally find one i indeed like haa not easy lol
What i can say with this steamed black sugar cane and coconut milk pudding with shredded taros lolll, this is simply just Nian Gao, why having so long the name lolll, i have relatively high expectation before i order, but this turn me in disappointment loll, having tasteless trod slices insides loll, i’m big fan of taro that’s why i order thisss saddd, if you just treat it as nian gao then it’s fine, soft texture with slight coconut flavor
Baked sliced turnip puff is such a good good one, having sesame in the puff bottom making the tastes more complex haa, even having
Sweetened egg white and chestnut soup tasting so special to me, first time trying this combination, quite sweet, and i can feel the chestnut insides
And so surprised the waitress wendy coming to my table and talking with me and asking me whether i feel satisfactory, oh so warm, and she is so kind too, indeed giving a thumb to her warming service haa, though the food is just okkk haa, ps feeling soso full after the mealxdd

We ordered a set lunch for 4 instead of individual dim sum + stark dishes. The 3 dim sums are of average quality, but the rest of the food is definitely bad. The beef is rubbery, the veggies are "old" and fibrous like strings. The soup is overly salty. Service: they employ staff who can barely speak and understand Cantonese. We had a lot of difficulty communicating with them. Atmosphere: high ceiling with 30-degree view of the sea (blocked by 2 hotel wings on each side). The aircon was blasting to the point that we had to ask to change our table to another one. All in: A...
Read moreI really don't know how to rate it. A standard Cantonese restaurant. Excellent dim sum at lunch time and a nice up market Chinese menu at dinner. It is located on Electric Road by North Point and has a nice view of the harbour. It has acceptable interiors although it is dark and drab in the private dining room (often used as part of the dining hall when there is no booking). It has a panoramic view of Victoria Harbour. That reminds me of the Man Wah on top of the Mandarin Oriental in Central, at twice the price. Easily. The food is not bad. Some years ago it was excellent. But that is not the case any more. Still not bad. Just...
