Food was good as is expected but service is sub par for the price. One of us walked the wrong way outside looking for a bathroom, and the hostess who showed us in didn’t recognize her, pointed her to go to the mall for the bathroom, on her way back directed her to the wedding next door, the same hostess who found our booking and brought us to the table.

The more senior staff were good, no complaints. The lower level one (in a different uniform) didn’t know what discreet means and kept walking up to very obviously glare at our table, very annoying. She would pour a few drops of tea in my cup 3-5 times between each sip I had.

At the end, there was complimentary dessert, the same person didn’t think to clear away the table before, putting the dessert spoons and forks in the tiny gaps between the used dishes and cutlery and the dessert in the middle of the table (pictured).

My wife was at the bathroom, and before they got back, the same waitress finally came to clear things away, and cleared the same dessert spoons and forks away, forgetting she placed them there 3 minutes earlier (and as a bonus, she had to make 6 trips to clear 3 table settings). I didn’t even bother asking her for the cutlery, and shared my set with my wife and kid. This person wasn’t rude or anything, just the lack of common sense. Clearing the table before dessert is so basic even at normal restaurants that charge $200 per haed, not what I would expect at almost $1,000 per head we spent here.

Also, the lack of attention paid to kid’s cutlery, these are the Ikea plates and spoons that I expect at lower end...

Terrible service! Firstly we booked man ho(intended to be admiralty) for lunch n was there punctually but they said we booked airport marriot man ho. While no table s offered the stupid reception asked if we need to cancel the booking at airport man ho! I went back to the website avalible on google n again found man ho phone no appearing next to all their three other restaurants like lounge flint so naturally I had pressed the call signal for man ho and was only informed when I got to man ho admiralty on the lunch day that I rang airport manho so I made a mistake I received no confirmation message or call for booking prior to my booked day from airport man ho which would have alerted me that I booked the wrong price nor did I hear the reception picking up my phone when i called saying that it is man ho airport. I trust that this mistake happaned not just once to the hotel and a more safe system should be in place It s clear非their duty to ensure property information is give to customer after all it s same name for two different far far away restaurants. Calling back your customer one day before the booking is essential to avoid mistake. Marriot doesnt bother to do it n ironically said to their customer " u rang it to other place sorry we don't have table for u" Michelin restaurant go refo your google page n put man ho admiralty cleay in the front after your other marriot restaurants n provide clear message to your customer when receiving call from your customer!...

What a treat to finally secure a table at the renowned Man Ho for a business lunch! The experience was truly outstanding from start to finish.

The food selection was phenomenal, particularly their signature crispy chicken dish - which everyone eagerly dug into before I could snap a photo! The daily double boiled soup of the day was exceptionally succulent and flavorful. A few of us also sampled the hot and sour soup, which was absolutely delightful.

One of the standout dishes was the deep-fried crab shell stuffed with crab meat, lobster meat and onion. It was a wonderfully unique and creative preparation, though quite rich and filling. I'd recommend sharing this dish rather than ordering it per person.

Another highlight was the perfectly cooked garoupa fillets. They were simply mouthwatering.

Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience that has left us eager to return for more. The blend of signature dishes, daily specials and creative preparations make Man Ho a must-visit for any serious food lover. I can't wait to plan our next business...

So bad it left me questioning the robustness of the Michelin criteria... Long story short, I am going to share my experience briefly: 1)        We felt rushed. We arrived at 8pm, and ordered 5 dishes. The first two dishes were served one by one, then all in the sudden, the waiter served the other three dishes in a short time… Even Worse a waiter served the dessert at 9:10pm while we were still savoring the food. (Not even clearing any plates away, a travel group meal???) I shared my feelings to your waiter, and your waiter said they had to do it because of the 10 pm curfew for restaurants. (Then set the last orders time at 7pm!) The service was so bad and the food got cold before we could finish them. Because of that, our mood was completely spoilt. We felt like we were having a group travel meal at your restaurant. 2)        There was no service at all. Not even refilling, clearing up the pates, etc. What’s the worst was there was no goodbye/ thank-you when we left. Omg.... Tell me, who want to pay HK$800 /head for this kind of "service"?
