Having departmental lunch with colleagues, we went to this resto at Pacific Place. . We ordered a wide array of food.
The BBQ Pork, BBQ Pork Flank and Jelly Fish impressed me the most. The BBQ Pork was well-seasoned and soft, the BBQ Pork Flank had a crispy skin and a balanced ratio of meat and fat, the Jelly Fish was crunchy.
The Shrimp Dumpling and Pork Dumpling were hotly-served and meaty. The Rice Flour Roll was silky and favourable with the ingredients. The Fried Rice was grainy and smelled fragrant.
Didn't appreciate the Matcha Baked Barbecue Sauce Pork Bun though. Couldn't really taste the matcha flavour at all.
The Sticky Rice Roll was a refreshing dessert. The mango enhanced its sweetness, and the cream blended nicely with the ingredients. . The resto was very neat and tidy. Since there were many ppl sitting at the same table, sometimes it was hard for us to listen to others as the resto was a bit noisy.
Went here for the second time with my colleagues for a farewell lunch. . Following were some of the dishes we ordered that differed from my first visit: -Chilled Black Fungus with Mustard The mustard brought a pleasant sourness to the fungus, which enhanced one's appetite.
-Sliced Pork Belly with Vegetable in Garlic Sauce The pork belly was presented in rolled form, and the garlic sauce gave it an aromatic aroma.
-Chilled Shredded Chicken & Floury Sheet in Peanut Sauce The floury sheet was chewy and the peanut sauce complemented the shredded chicken well.
-Stir-fried Rice Flour Rolls with XO Sauce Served in a stone pot, the rolls were piping hot and savoury with the XO sauce.
-Singaporean Style Stir-fried Vermicelli with Prawn The Vermicelli was slightly chilly and had wok hei. The prawns were quite meaty too.
-Milk & Egg Yolk Paste Bun in Pig Shape The bun, shaped like a pig, looked absolutely adorable. Its paste was creamy, oozing out like lava.
-Baked Egg Tart The tart had a crunchy crust with a warm egg custard.
-Coffee Layers Pudding The pudding exuded an intense coffee fragrance, and the sweetness was on point.
-Fresh Pomelo & Mango with Sago in Coconut & Mango Juice It had a slightly bitter taste to me.
-Japanese Red Bean with Taro Cone & Grass Jelly Didnt try this. . Overall, the food from this resto was quite nice, and the seating was...
Read moreWent there for dinner, food are all below average. Service is terrible, the waitress filled me the wrong tea without asking, they urged to clean up the plates even the dish was not finished, worst thing is, the waitress kept saying putonghua to my friend even i told her my friend don't understand cantonese or chinese. They just don't have the senses and quality. I don't expect such service in any restaurants in PP. Its a shame to have such poor service quality...
