Mars Bar — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

Mars Bar is a hidden gem in Sheung Wan where there is real dearth of good bars.

Every tine I go in there, whatever time of day or night, I either meet somebody new, or someone I already know who I didn't know lived in the area.

I work till midnighr 2 nights a week, so I arrive there with my boss at about 2430h and frequently see the bar go from 5 people to 25 people in the space of just 10 mins - on a weekday.

Their Maanger Jojo is full of personality and charm and the main reason we go there, with their Bar Manager Surprise from Nepal back ing things up nicely.

If you are looking for a quirky, dive bar, where you can even pick the music from thier iPad, then Mars Bar is your place.

This place has become a top SYP neighborhood hang, its a great alternative to go to for a drink.or three and the dart boards are always busy with friendly people that share their games. The owner has a taste for middle eastern food, and has some delicious kebabs with hummus. All home made. The beef was very juicy and flavorful, tender. My teenage daughter loved the burger too. Everything about this bar was ok.. but just ok... The wine was ok.. the service was kind of ok, and the food was normal food... Just ok.. there's nothing great and nothing bad about the whole experience. If I was going to complain about something it would be that the music was a bit too loud to have normal...
