MISERABLE AT EVERY POINT !!! Give this one a MISS!!
I've been to Jakarta and know what a Nasi Goreng should taste like AND what it comes with.
It should NOT be an oil soaked, re-heated plate of incorrectly seasoned rice with rubber textured bait size prawns, scraps of old chicken AND an over cooked, greasy egg as a crowning finish to this inedible mess!
Not only was it overpriced but, unapologetically, when I ask the server where's the satay or at least a prawn cracker, I'm informed these are extra. Unbelievable!
Here's the best part (which should've been my warning); we were the only customers other than what appeared to be the manager casually dining away as we sat there visibly suffering through this excuse for dinner.

Read moreGosh this is hard to score. With pain in my heart I give it a 2 star score. Not because of the food. I really like it. Taste authentic. But I ate there 3 times now in a short time cause it's convenient next to my hotel and twice I've seen big cockroaches running around. The 2nd time a waitress saw it and stepped on it but it was right next to our table and fluids splattered on my partners shoe and foot. She kicked the dead bug to the back of the restaurant leaving some guts on the floor next to us. I feel really bad cause the food is good but this place definitely has a roach...
