I come here just for the momos, which are awesome. The chicken skewers and asparagus are good too, and my boyfriend likes the seafood dishes. 4 stars because service is hit or miss. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's disastrous.
One time we came in and the waitress didn't even acknowledge us after we waited around for 5-10 min trying to get her attention (and this is a very small restaurant, so it's not like she couldn't see us or couldn't have spared 5 seconds to hand us a menu). If we hadn't been there on a 40% off Eatigo reservation, we definitely would have left.
We later watched her argue extensively with some other customers who were trying to show her how she had billed them wrong. Perhaps she hadn't, but they were going about the discussion respectfully, while her tone and attitude were embarrassingly unprofessional. And we also saw the couple next to us cancel their last item and leave because they had been waiting for a long time for it after all their other food was finished.
We still go back when they have good Eatigo deals. As I said, the food is consistently good. But if you don't have all day or are picky about service attitude, maybe...

Made a reservation w Eatigo. Went there around 7:30 pm.
The indian waiter, with very sour face, reluctantly confirmed my reservation. We waited about 15 min before he came over to take our order. Our first food arrived exactly an hour later. Our last dish was finished almost around ten. We were soooo hungry just waiting and waiting, and our beers turned warm.
The worst part is — he insisted we pay only in cash because we used Eatigo. If you don’t people to use Eatigo, don’t put your restaurant on the app. — we paid in cash and waited another 15 min for change. When we called him, he smirked and asked how much change he owes us because he did NOT count our bill. We ended up doing the calculation for him and getting the change. No apologies whatsoever.
I am never going back here. It was just that terrible. Food wise, it was alright. Slightly salty....
Read moreSmash'd is a burger specialist along Catchick Street in Kennedy Town. They have a tidy burger joint like seating area and are open from 12pm to 10pm daily. You can do take-away as well. They offer a range of beef and veggie burgers and serve a few draught and bottled beer options as well.
Recently had lunch here and found the Classic Smash'd cheeseburger (HK$78) that was pretty good. Patty was grilled medium well but was still juicy and of good natural beef flavour. Toppings were fresh and tasted fine. Sesame seed bun held everything together just fine. Sweet potato fries (HK$38) were fine and fair portion. Enjoyed a St. Mungo lager that went well with the burger and fries.
Overall, Smash'd is a better than average burger specialist - not up there with the higher end and more pricey burgers you can find in the city but better than your McD, MOS, Five Guys and Shake...
