Outside it said something pub. My Indian frd and I went for a drink after dinner, we politely asked the bartending lady what time they will close, she said “if you order 5 drinks than we will keep it open for you.” We smiled and said “don’t think we can drink that many,” ordered 1 drink each, the lady kept saying, “I decided what time I want to close, you don’t ask.” When she talked to the other group of guys playing instruments, she put her smiley face on really disgust us. We were so scared sitting inside, so we walked out. There was a nice guy bringing us bar stools to sit, thanks

Went here with my parents and partner. Server was hilarious and friendly, though my older parents were a bit taken aback by the level of energy output by her. Food was delicious - we had the fish and chips and it was the type with a very crunchy outside and an inside that would melt in your mouth. The restaurant has some pirate-themed designs on the wall, and money/business cards/etc. stuck on the walls. It was fun looking through years' worth of souvenirs left by guests. Would go again, just be prepared for the sometimes out of pocket jokes from servers.

This is a nice English style pub in Stanley which is simple and basic which has a good range of beers on draft. They also service food but I didn't try that. I think that this is an interesting place and it is worth having a beer at if you are in the area. The walls are covered in money, business cards and ID cards from visitors from all over the world which makes it standout. It does seem like the furniture has not been clean since it was bought but never mind as it is part of the charm.

This place has atmosphere and very friendly straight up bar ladies, enjoyed a pint here with friend. There is money all over the roof and some walls with notes from customers, touching some heartstrings too, and a juke box. Sit outside or in, and even watch the waterfront dragon boat races or other. Stanley market is changing, nice relax spot.

A great place where you are guaranteed to meet both area residents and tourists. The owner is a lot of fun just like the employees. The buttered popcorn hit just right. Great view of the beach if you're looking for somewhere comfortable to sit while you look out. Shout out to the person that left the Canadian Tire money, I had a good chuckle.

Great little main street nook to perch with a couple of beers and people-watch. Long-standing Hong Kong icon that hails back to post 1997 and the decor resembles a sailor's den. There are notes from across the world to admire hanging from every beam and bit of ceiling. The staff are friendly and attentive and they have a few beers on tap.
