Being a fan of Lao Fu Zi, I patronised the cafe during my Penang trip. The adorable posters & even comics on the tables were added attractions to fans of this cartoon.

I ordered B3 Pork Lard Rice with Pork Chop and was delighted to see real pieces of pork lard in the rice, like a side dish! 😋 The dish was small in portion but very delicious. My order of Coffee+Tea was a wrong choice as it didn't sit well with my tastebud at all. I only managed 5 sips & couldn't even take another sip..then again, this is my personal tastebud issue.

good hk style cafe that offers thai and hk cafe food. ordered the stir fried beef hor fun and pork chop bun. the stir fried beef hor fun was piping hot and had good flavor but a little bit oily. it was tasty though. pork chop bun was quite good with egg and melted cheese. yhe pork was tender and flavourful. price is reasonable for stanley so can't complain. overall this place is probably the best for value place around stanley in terms of cost...

This is one of the largest local eateries in Stanley, and super popular with residents & nearby students. It serves mainly Cantonese & Thai fast food dishes. Food is just about average but not that many choices available in the neighborhood, most restaurants in Stanley being overpriced...
