Today is 25/9/2024, I ordered a takeaway ( BBQ pork + oily Chicken rice) at around 11:45 to avoid the lunch rush. When I was there to pick up, I asked the counter lady and she said oh its not ready yet, i re-assure the order is "IN" and she said yes, so i waited for 10 min, and i asked another staff, she told me to wait and when its ready someone will take it out. OK another 10 min passed, I asked another staff , she was annoyed and told me to wait, and told me not to ask the kitchen as the chef inside will chop me if i keep on asking.
Okay.... end up i wait for 25 min and the front counter lady found out the order is not been placed to the kitchen. .....i am like wtf, bbut i just wanna go, so i ask the manager, can my meal prepare in 2 min , if not i leave
meal is ready in 1 min, (it only takes one min to chop those bbq meat and chicken) and i wasted 25 min of my lunch hour ther...
Read moreWe had a very nice dinner and a subsequent dim sum the following morning . We ordered two dishes and also received the chicken ( 一蚊雞) for $1 HKD .Our dinner tab was about $550 HKD .I should clarify that we ordered two dishes ( one of which was the fish )= $299.00 plus another dish and the delicious soup dumplings So four dishes total = $550.00 HKD. Read moreVery noisy place. Foods were just so so, nothing special, but pricy. Here, you don't have much dim sum to select and choose. We ordered a dish of spring onion/ginger/ Chaw Sui stir mixed egg noodles with Oyster sauce(羗葱义燒撈麵) a hot pot fried Kale Veg( 啫啫芥蘭煲) and fish head dim sum, beef ball, and almond pudding.
The egg noodles was too wet n lack of Spring Onion taste that should be a soul of this dish. Hot Pot stir-fried Kale using only minced pork , no salty dried prawn to fry with, and short of other kind of tasty seasoned stuff too. Even the Kale was not young enough. Both dishes were below standard. Because we know some restaurants in the community cooking them much better , and even cost are lower. Don't mention the other dim sum, all...
