Before heading to the True Light Musical, I had dinner at this wonderful resto with my friend and celebrated her bday! . We ordered the following dishes to share: -Fritto Misto The squid and prawn were served with aioli. The squid was pleasantly chewy, while the prawns were quite meaty. The garlic and olive oil from the aioli made them more appetising.

-II Granchio Pizza Seasoned with huadiao sauce, the pizza consisted of mozzarella, crab and spring onion. It was topped with purple flower petals, giving it an attractive appearance. The huadiao sauce paired perfectly with the crab, creating a fresh combination, and the pizza crust was crunchy.

-Pizzamisu A tiramisu served in pizza form. The dough was covered with tiramisu milk cap and cocoa powder. They even presented a white chocolate card for the bday star on the dessert. The milk cap overflowed once we cut into the dessert, and it was extremely milky and smooth. The cocoa powder was quite overwhelming that we choked a bit when we had the dessert🤣. . Located on the rooftop of One Peking with floor-to-ceiling glass, the resto offers a spectacular view where you can enjoy the sea view of Victoria Harbor. We were lucky enough to be seated near a window-side table, allowing us to enjoy the fascinating view of Victoria Harbour. You can request this seating upon reservation. . The entrance is situated next to the Vista on the 29th floor, and is accessed through a neon-lit staircase, creating a sense of time travel. The decoration is exquisite with a touch of British retro style, and the lighting is dim and soft. . A big thanks to my friend for recommending this resto! It's a really nice one for bday...

Eggplant appetizer was the best testing dish but 98HKD for a tiny dish of vegetables is a bit steep…

Pizzas were also not that good as we expected more given the ambiance and reviews. First of all, prices was similar to other popular pizza places but much much smaller, which could be acceptable but the toppings were simply not enough in terms of flavor + texture. I think Paisanos puts more on their pizzas. Some people might like it but it felt like the dough was thin as pasta. We were going to order more after our first round but decided not to after trying the dishes.

Mala Chicken - was barely 麻辣. mostly sweet mush, no noticeable chicken pieces either. was like they put caramelized onions and peppers + sichuan peppercorn oil on top.

Il Granchio Crab Pizza - dried up crab; might be better to just put it after baking because it was almost like pork floss. had a weird sweet sauce like mango as well.

Mortazza - Again with the sweet. Menu did say caramelized pistachio cream but all we tasted was the sugar, no nuttiness. Could barely taste the mortadella and cheeses as well. This combo has been my favorite at other pizza places I’ve been so but this was disappointing.

Diavola - The most normal tasting pizza + good kick from the nduja and chili oil but was missing structure.

Views and ambiance were nice so I would only come again for that but the food needs to be...

We made a reservation and were lucky enough to get a window-side table, fantastic view of Victoria Harbour despite it was a rainy day. Service is welcoming and efficient. I loved the pizza here - unique menu and the ingredients tasted great together. We tried the Amalfi and The Ducky, and both taste fabulous. The pizza crust/dough got cold faster than I expected, so the crust hardened and got a bit chewy. (Not sure if it is suppose to be like that)

I would suggest skipping pulled pork on fried pizza dough (we got for appretizer) - it didn't quite hit the mark for us, and also we are getting pizza anyways so there was just too much pizza dough for 1 meal.

On the drinks front, both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic options were fabulous. I particularly loved the Augusto (non alcoholic) and would also recommend the Rosetto (with alcohol).

I was craving Tiramisu but there is only Pizzamisu on the menu (which is more pizza dough). We couldn’t eat more pizza dough so we skipped dessert and got more drinks instead. Staff informed us that Tiramisu is no longer on menu.

Overall, a wonderful dining experience at Vesu Pizza! I hope they can find ways to improve the warmth of the food being served to the table (regarding the pizza getting cold very fast). Menu wise could use some changes as well (ie Tiramisu for those who had multiple pizza-dough-dishes already). Hope to...

The lunch menu was good value for money. Starters and mocktails were better than I expected. If the mocktails are this refined, I imagine that their cocktails must also be impressive. Pizzas were decent, though only 9”. It was enough for me and my friend (both females who don’t eat much) but I imagine some people might still end up hungry afterwards. The atmosphere is a bit all over the place. With the high rise view of Victoria harbour, it feels fancy, but also the restaurant itself (located on the second floor above Vista) is going for a hip hop, neon lights and chill vibe, so there’s a bit of a mis match. The service is okay, leaning more towards casual than fine dining but then again as I said, the restaurant seems to be going for a more relaxed vibe anyway, so that’s fine. P.S. I found the moving wording in the staircase leading up the restaurant to be extremely dizzying and over stimulating. I can’t imagine going up and down these stairs after a few drinks!
