I found this place on the Michelin guide when searching for nice Chinese in HK. Tbh, I don’t understand why they have a Michelin star. The service was Okish - we got a better table after I complained because I had the made the reservation well in advance. Our budget was 5000 HK$ but ended up only spending 1500 because they either didn’t have the things in the menu that we asked for or it was just way too overpriced to order some of the live seafood. I asked for a grab and they wanted 2500 just for one? I’m sorry, but a grab or live seafood is just live seafood. There is nothing experimental in the cooking that I would expect for that price. Deep fried live Marble Goby with Soya Sauce - I definitely recommend getting this dish. The texture and taste is very much like the snow fish, but a little more savory. The outer layer of the meat was crispy, which goes really well with the sweet soy sauce
Braised superior Shark fin with Thick chicken Broth - The broth is think and has a really nice aroma. If you do not want to get the shark fin, swap it out for fish maw and it will taste just as good.
Deep fried salt and pepper Frog legs Sautéed Frog legs - The deep fried one tasted real good. A little salty with the hint of spice. The sautéed one has the Chinese wok stored fried aroma to it. I would recommend this dish as well.
Sautéed Diced Wagyu with sliced garlic - this dish is competently made. It’s something you order to fill you up. You can this elsewhere.
All in all, a great experience and highly...

However, a small disappointment affected the evening: one of the dishes we ordered never arrived, and we were only told it was sold out more than an hour after placing the order. That hiccup cost a star from an otherwise stellar...
