Review:
We stumbled upon this restaurant located at Lock Road when we were looking for another restaurant which was closed at that time. During my first time there, I ordered their Hainan Chicken Meal set (HK$ 66). It comes with a quarter portion of chicken, large serving of rice (good for 2), and a choice of either a drink or soup. They serve big portions, which can be good for 2 pax. I love ther Beef Soup which is actually a Tomato Soup. It's a must try to compliment your meal.
Upon entering, you will need to browse their me u at the cashier counter. Order from there and find your seat. The food attendants will serve the food.
Since we liked their food, we went there again for dinner on our 3rd day in HK. I ordered their Rice with Fish Curry (HK$65 + HK$ 3 after 6pm). I loved it. The fish serving was 3 large pieces. I once again ordered the Beef Tomato Soup with my meal.
For the soup, you have 2 choices: Beef or Pork. For the drinks, you will need to add HK$3 if you want it cold.
I liked it that their menus have English translation and photos. However, you must read it carefully because they have time limit for some of the dishes; wherein you need to add HK$3 when it's 6PM onwards.
Their portions are good for 2 pax. Service was fast and efficient. Atmosphere and setting was like fastfood. Staff will immediately remove your plate when they see it empty.
A must try when you're in Hong Kong.

Earlier when we ordered food, we spoke English to the cashier. When the food was out, one of the staff shouted our order number in English which a bit surprising. Turned out we found out the cashier had typed “english” on our receipt which prompted the staff to communicate automatically in English. We find this very interesting and a great attempt to provide...
Read moreThe shop isn’t big. Accept cash as preference. No credit card payments. The menu is straight forward. Do take note that additional surcharge for dinner if pick some items from lunch hour ie extra $3 per item I assume since we only ordered 2 pork chop noodles less spicy and a coke each. Pork chop I like as it’s not tough. Noodles like Dian Dian noodles. But soup still alittle spicy for me. It’s ling operating make it easier since I arrive around 9pm...
