It could be the best Yunan rice noodles in town. The "Sing Lam Geoi" - Rice Noodle House was widely known to tourists, especially tourists from Korea, and sometimes from Mainland China. It was believed that some Korean tour guide happened to put this shop in a very prominent spot that drew load of Korean customers. The shop used to playback some entertaining K-pop TV shows, but was ceased recently; however, the several misfitting posters of probably-MMORPG-characters were hanging there since long. There were two types of noodles, cold noodles, and that with hot soup. You were allowed to choose as many ingredients on their list as you wanted; and each ingredient would cost around HK$12 (or less). Please be prepared for the seemingly less-tidy environment, and some less-responsive staffs; it was anyways, not a 5-star hotel.

Want spicy (and I mean spicy) rice noodles with a great number of side choices? This is the place to go! Several tips for you before your visit - (1) the sour and spicy soup, it's spicy!! I can take a lot of spicy and even medium is near my limit. (2) order the soy milk drink because you're going to need it. (3) though the place is known for the soup version, dry the dry mixed noodles as well - it's a great alternative. We tried both the soup and dry versions with a variety of fish balls and dumplings. Serving was big enough for both of us to feel full. The service is as you expect at small local noodle shops, swift and efficient is what you expect. The shop is a bit small and the tables are crammed together. However the noodles themselves are reason enough to visit.

The atmosphere here is pretty chill and since there aren't many seats, you may end up eating next to a stranger. I got the very little spice,no sourness, and it was perfect for me. Had that very slight bit of spiciness to give the dish a flare and the noodles were chewy in a good way. In case it is your first time here, when you enter, grab the red card by the table you are seated at and they will have a board full of pictures with the names of toppings on the menu. Then you will proceed to circle the items you want added and give them your red card. It came out pretty fast for me and overall, the experience was pretty amazing. I would highly reccomend and I heard that if you love spicy food, even medium spiciness is enough to grt you on your toes so good luck!
