I wanted to take Hubby to a seafood buffet for his birthday celebration and was So excited to see Cafe On M on Eatigo for 50%off at 8:30pm.
We were seated right away and given 1.5 hrs to eat. We were quite impressed with the selection. Salad Bar with Sushi and Sashimi. Cheese and cured Meats. Raw bar with crabs, fresh shucked oysters, crayfish, mussels, whelk and cocktail prawns. Hot Dishes was quite a nice selection soon. A big corner of Indian food, a Chinese roasted meats area, Spanish Seafood soup area, Lobster Laksa, Truffle Pasta, Grilled Tenderloin , lamb chops and Prawns. Roasted Steak and Lamb Leg. Double boiled Soup and Chinese dishes too. Overall, great selection. Big Dessert selection with a Hagen Daas Ice cream bar, chocolate fountain with fruits, French pastries and Chinese desserts. Unfortunately the waffle and Crepe wasn't available. The sashimi was very good. Very fresh. Oysters were not chilled enough, crabs and prawns were pretty good. Meats was fresh and sweet. The Laksa was very tasty but Lobster a bit overcooked. The Truffle and Caviar pasta was ok, a bit bland, needed seasoning. I noticed the lady staff at that station seemed to be training a young man but spent most of the time complaining about her job. Not sure that the quality was affected by not paying attention. The Manager tho was awesome. He noticed right away if ppl are waiting, jumped in to help as much as he can. My fav was the Spanish Seafood soup, it had a huge clam, razor clams, prawns, mini lobster tails, another type of clams too. The Garlic toast was so good with it. The lady pastry chef was also very nice, she explained different pastries and gave great suggestions. The buffet came with Tea and Coffee as well, we chose Cappuccino and Latte. We paid $740 for the 2 of us. Thanks Eatigo! Excellent deal. Great Service with Good Food. Definitely...

I recently dined at Cafe on M, a Japanese-themed buffet located in the InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong in Tsim Sha Tsui. Here's my review:
The restaurant offers a decent selection of dishes, but it is not as extensive as some other buffets. However, what they lack in quantity, they make up for in quality. The Chinese-style soup was particularly delicious and my favorite dish.
The service at Cafe on M was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff always on hand to assist you. However, the receptionist at the entrance could be more proactive and friendly.
Unfortunately, the crab legs were a disappointment, as they lacked any crab flavor and were not fully thawed. This was a letdown as seafood is a highlight of any Japanese-themed buffet.
The restaurant is not particularly large, but it does offer a cozy and intimate dining experience. Overall, Cafe on M is a good choice for those looking for a quality dining experience with excellent service, but keep in mind that the selection of dishes is not extensive and the crab legs could...
