This is a Hot Pot restaurant conveniently located on Hillwood Road, about 50m from Nathan Road and less than 100m from the MTR entrance for Fourseas Building. Rather an old and traditional design premises but the service and food quality was good. The choices of condiments was limited though relative to other Hot Pot restaurants that are newer. There was chicken and fishmaul soup in one hot pot and ma la satay, mildly spicy soup in another one. We had a room that was for 7 to 8 persons and while it did accommodate us all, it was crammy. Still, the food quality was good and maybe because our host was a regular, the service was very good. We ordered the fish maw & conch chicken soup base—so rich and packed with ingredients! The beef was thinly sliced and super fresh, way better than other places. Even the handmade meatballs were a hit—my daughter, who usually hates shrimp balls, loved theirs!
