Artificial-tasting and too sweet. Wasn't cheap but tasted cheap. Would not go here again.
The mango sorbet was the only one I kept eating, but it was just OK. I don't know what the positive reviewers are on. Maybe this was their first time trying gelato?
I suppose we are spoiled now that we have Messina in Hong Kong. If you're in the mood for gelato, go there instead. It's worth the trip and in a similar price range.
Edit (response to owner): By "artificial-tasting", I mean we could not taste enough of the real ingredients that are supposed to provide flavor. The proportion is probably too low, and overwhelmed by sugar or bolstered by flavor enhancers.
If you don't use such enhancers, you should state that, rather than irrelevant facts like the (young) business age, headquarters in the US (as if the US doesn't love artificial flavors?), origin of some ingredients, or machinery manufacturer.
