Still a favorite go to place for their ramen + cutlet combo, the rice portion is a bit small (not a full bowl).

Typically order a large, soy broth, you get lots of noodles and sliced pork, and if you get a combo like I do, a breaded pork cutlet with rice and a half egg.

The potato salad is good, Japanese style. Yum.

Table seating or communal bar-like seating on the circular table in the center.

Friendly staff.

Weekends can be busy, while weekday evenings are more quiet.

Today's rainy weather made me craving for some ramen.⛈️ We went to HOKKAIDO RAMEN SANTOUKA in iSQUARE. They have three sizes for you to pick (S/M/L). This used to be one of my favourite ramen joints in Hong Kong when it was located at Kornhill Plaza many years ago, so I was pleasantly surprised to find it relocated to TST. Ordered the usual miso ramen but something is just not quite right. The soup felt the same as before, but the ramen seem to be a bit hard to chew and the pork is way too slim/rough. A bit of a letdown this time hope it gets better...
