RT is American style eatiry. Have been eating with RT from 2008, and of course, have a membership with them. I've been visiting & and eating once every 3 months and many family members birthdays celebrated, for the past 15 years, but never take photographs or review, hahaha, so today, i decided to give my review. Back then, our most often orders are their juicy, tender-fell-off-the bone pork ribs, loaded nachos with pull pork, onion rings & desert amazing chocolate lava cake or chocolate tall cake. Mostly, we went to their branch at silvercord-TST or Telford Plaza-kowloon Bay. But around the time during covid & recently, I found the pork ribs not as juicy as before. The loaded nachos they changed to omni pork, which tasted horrible, the vegetables sides before is broccoli, culi flower, green bean, carots poached in butter, which i love, now they gave grilled pumpkin (taste bitter) & carrots. They closed down & and moved out, our favorite spot. I remember reading their announcement about splitting from the main company in the USA, so RT HK is HK own company, is it affecting the food quality? Worry not, i still come to RT, because they still have other nice food, like the super juicy and tender pork chop steak, the Buffalo chicken wings is awesome! And their new places i feel better, more bright with many large windows, found our favorite branch now, mongkok & k11 art mall-tst. What else i can say? It is love and hate with RT, hahaha... sorry, I will post more photos...
Read moreFirst of all they didnt even offer us some water after we sat and second the onion soup was very salty 0/5.and half of the steak was mostly fat. This place is extremely expensive. We were approached by two staffs after we ordered our food.First the lady comes showing me my bill was $1550 hkd and showing me the difference if i join the membership or whatever that my bill total would be only 600 dollar. But i didn't fall for this scam. And the second time another staffs arrives after i paid my bill saying if i join the membership i only need to pay 600 repeating and pushing you to join the membership. When i told him no he made a very long face.I was surprised when i say the bill when i had to pay $1550 hkd for worst service and they charged me extra 4 dollars for 2 takeaway box.For the whole time i felt like i was in a ‘cha chan teng’ restaurant.I mean Cha chan Teng is much better than this place!!! Never coming back again!!!I hope this review reaches your...
Read moreQuaint and quiet restaurant. Perfect for conversing and catching up. As its as restaurant on the top floor of a building, you can enjoy your meal while watching the hustle and bustle of Mong Kok below. I'm not too impress with the pricing at this restaurant. As a visitor. There is a membership fee to get a lower price for the food in which I still felt was quite expensive. Perhaps I'm a little bit spoiled here in Canada. The variety was fantastic in the service was definitely not overbearing. People gave you your space to catch up and handle your business. Wait stuff were super friendly and attentive when needed. Location: Traveling from the bottom of the building to the restaurant was a little bit hectic. You have to walk through a department store and if you're not used to that type of setup, you could...
