An unexpectedly affordable cafe in a high-end shopping area. Bit of a "Japanese-style western" cafe. Provides food ranging from rice and spaghettis with eels, wagyu, etc. on top, to croissants and quinoa salad bowls. Heard that their rice is good. But I had their slow cooked chicken breast quinoa salad instead today. And I'm more than satisfied with what I ordered.😍
The slices of chicken breasts are tender and a little chewy. The sweet beetroot cubes and mixed green (they even put several pieces of mint leaves inside!😲) together with the little sour citrus dressing taste just about right😋.
You can have a discount of 25hkd upon drinks with a value of or above 40hkd during tea time period. (Well... Basically everything is above 40hkd except for hot amaericano lol.) Sweet tooth like me just can't miss this chance to order their signature Crazy Chocolate. Didn't expect much from the very beginning. I guess that explains why I didn't find it unsatisfactory. In the contrary, I was quite pleased with the mix of various kinds of chocolate in an already rich chocolate drink😌. I just should have told the staff to get me the drink after I finish my quinoa bowl :( coz it got cold gradually as I was busy devouring my tasty quinoa salad haha.
Will sure try out their coffee and beer some time. :)
P.S.1 Their catering crockery and cutlery are well designed. Be sure to have your some moments of enjoyment using them. :)
P.S.2 10% of service charge is required, but...
Read moreQuite lucky that we got served with a seat straight away, which the shop is usually having a queue at the door. We came around at tea time so didn’t pick a beer nor the meals that most of the other contributor recommended. Instead we had another signature, the crazy chocolate and the affogato. The affogato was nice, rich flavour ice cream and the dark coffee; however the crazy chocolate was a little disappointing- it looked good, lots of chocolate flakes on top, three shades, thick chocolate cream foam on top, but tasted flat. The crazier it looked, the tasteless it really was in comparison (which i did stir well). And due to the government restriction of restaurant, there were clear partitions on the tables but that made the space super limited. I understand it’s not the fault of the restaurant but didn’t feel like to sit and...
Read moreIt’s great that sensory zero has their branch in kowloon side finally. Excellent location. However, it is getting more pricey, esp they have 10% service charge. I remembered that the first time i had ginger latte years ago, it was just $38 but now it is $50 excluding service charge. The decor is really hip though and it is not packed at all. No waiting is needed. The perfect location( inside lane crawford) makes more sense for its price that at least 20% pay for its rent. Unfortunately the price may be too touristy & the service is not attentive at all. There are better choices for coffee nearby, like arabica%, unless you would stay for hours. Great place to chill with...
