Never would I review restaurants in my hometown but I think I can finally write one, but not for good though.
I had been a frequent customer for over 30 years. It’s not the most authentic Thai boat noodle restaurant, but the food just tasted right for me.
However ever since the restaurant was renovated and the owner’s daughter gradually took over, the portion of dishes were cut, like from 8 beef balls (10 if the old owner was in good mood), to 7, and now 6, plus the taste of food also deteriorated.
Wah Thai used to open until 2 or even 3 am but now it’s closed at 10:30. I believe that most old customers like me prefer going to there a few hours after dinner and I’m not sure how the new operation hours suit us.

Read moreSpecial kudos to the friendly and hard working lady owner. Was really hungry walking in at a late weekday. Unsure what to order and the lady immediately suggested the house special of mixed beef soup in glass noodles. Some of the sliced beef was slightly overcooked, yet rest of all other offal tastes fantastic as if in Thailand.
