I wanted so badly to love this place but if I’m being honest, the food was disappointing. Before leaving this review we even went back a second time jus to see if maybe it was what we ordered or if it was just an off day. We tried their fried calamari, and just didn’t have good flavor. The pasta di mare again, just didn’t have good flavor. Even the sauce was really lacking in flavor. The Caesar salad had only a couple of drops of dressing and lettuce was warm. The pepperoni pizza just wasn’t good pizza. The dough was ok but the pepperoni and cheese weren’t good and the sauce was barely noticeable. And the veal was a really nice piece of meat, but ruined with too much salt. We did enjoy the tomato soup and the star of the show was definitely the tiramisu! This tiramisu was truly one of the best I’ve ever had. I’d recommend going just for this alone. What I loved and would make me go back and try a third time was the decor. This place is truly beautiful and has an amazing ambiance. And the service was outstanding. Next time in bogota we will definitely give them another try and hopefully the food...
Read moreIt’s a B- to decent Italian restaurant I got the Spaghetti & Meatballs
With this dish being the most basic level, simplistic of Italian dishes. I always choose this dish at an Italian restaurant the VERY FIRST time I go.
My theory is, if an Italian restaurant cannot successfully cook a Good Spaghetti & Meatballs, they probably can’t do much right overall.
This Spaghetti & Meatballs? 6/10
A bit too salty and lacking of a good, rich pomodoro flavor in the sauce. Meatballs were generously portioned, good but not exceptional.
Service was very good, very attentive. Came to check on my needs, satisfaction within 2-3 minutes after the entree hit the table which was what good, well trained servers should do.
Had a great wine by the copa A primitivo with wonderful notes of dark chocolate & oak named “12 e Mezzo” A wonderful primitivo by the copa I...
Read moreIMPECCABLE! After a long day of walking and dealing with Bogota's stress and constantly-on-the-go environment, we were ready for a break. Earlier in the day we had seen this place and the concierge also recommended it so we went. WOW!!! Beautiful place, they got us in right away at Parque 93 that is so busy. We sat at the beautiful bar, the waiters dressed impeccably, the design and atmosphere absolutely lovely, the drinks so well done and then the food... oh - my - god! absolutely delicious! I ordered the seafood fetuccini and it was to die for. The salmon carpacho was perfection. We had an amazing time - I send A LOT of Americans to Bogota and recommend my favorite restaurants to friends there - this has made it to my list of...
