I'm not sure where to start with this cafe - they serve one of the best cups of coffee in the city, hands down. I'd give it four stars, but the staff can be a bit hit-or-miss when it comes to customer service. Sometimes they can come across as a bit abrupt or unfriendly.
However, if you're a coffee connoisseur who can look past the occasional gruff service, then this cafe is an absolute must-visit. The coffee is truly exceptional, and it's worth tolerating the occasional brusque interaction with the staff.
One thing to note is that the cafe is quite small, with limited seating. Unfortunately, the best tables seem to be reserved most of the time, which can be a bit frustrating if you're looking for a comfortable spot to relax.

Read moreCafe La Manchuria in Cartagena quickly became our go-to spot during our trip. We first discovered this gem on a food tour, and it was so incredible that we came back every single day afterward. After a long day in the sun, there was nothing better than their refreshing lemonade coffee and perfectly chilled lattes—absolute lifesavers in the Cartagena heat.
What made Cafe La Manchuria truly special wasn’t just the unique drinks but the people behind them. Day, Jefferson, and Adriana were beyond amazing. They took care of us with such warmth and kindness that it felt like coming home every time we walked through the door. They shared the story behind the shop with such pride, and you could feel the passion they have for what they do.
Cafe La Manchuria is more than just a coffee shop; it’s an experience. If you’re in Cartagena, don’t miss this incredible spot. The drinks are fantastic, the vibe is welcoming, and the people are...

I will be disputing part of the charge, because this business needs to be dinged.
ETA post business reply: I sent an email to ventas@lamanchuria.com 3 days before I even posted this review. The business reply makes it seem like they want to hear from me, but they never replied to my original email in the first place....
