¡Ay Wey! Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Medellín

If I could give zero stars I would. I was very motivated by the owner and the idea he had with his ambition towards opening this sports bar in Medellin. However, I am more that disappointed with their service. The first waiters service was extremely lethargic and un-motivating. I requested to sit at the bar professionally and respectfully. She politely stated “okay”. This was done with the intentions that bartenders are unusually operating/managing the establishment. I requested the first set (2) of drinks. Our drinks were completely empty, with zero intentions of her asking us if we’d like another. We had to flag her down after 20 minutes. Then after she stated the keg tapped out. So I asked her if I could have a Moscow mule( which is on the menu) she stated “NO” and stayed quiet. So I again responded well a “capirina” she stated “NO” again! At which point does the bartender recommend a drink? So, then she rudely slammed the bar code menu in front of me and stated “LOOK AT THE MENU” and walked away! I decided within two minutes and waited over 25 minutes again waiting at the only bar in the establishment that she was attending as she was on her phone sitting in the corner by the fire extinguisher. I watched someone else take a beer out of the beer cooler earlier. However, when I did it due to her lack of customer service. She screams at me saying not to do it again. I explain to her, well if you simply attend me I’d never have a need to do this. She rudely speaks over me and says you can leave. I explain to her as a prior bartender; Please attend your customers and stay off your phone respectfully. She argues with me disagreeing. I ask her politely can I speak to your manager and she stated I’m the manager, printing out tab and slamming it on the table. I had intentions on returning again on the weekend and spending more money toward my proud American business owner. However, I will never return again due to many unprofessional and disgusting services anyone should ever receive. The bartenders name was “MICHE”. Don't go there! Worst place ever! 19 lukas for a simple can of local beer! Don't know if they just overcharge foreigners (read the comment of another person above, they tried to rip him off as well) or if it's their normal prices. If it's their normal prices, then they are just really, really funny with a weird kind of humor and I wish them good luck for their "business" (I personally don't call rip-off "business") closing down soon 🤣. If they only overcharge foreigners, then it's just really, really bad people working there. Whatever is true, don't EVER go to this place!

EDIT: They answered that a Club Colombia is 15.900, I had a simple can of Aguila (local beer, and cheaper than Club Colombia) for 19k. So the rip-off is obvious now.

EDIT 2: So the waiters were just selling an overpriced beer can that's not even on the menu? That's illegal. I didn't check the menu as i just wanted a simple Aguila. Stay away...

Great outdoor tables to watch the chicas do their thing. I went on a Wednesday afternoon to spot honeys before the evening crowd. The waitresses were two 6's and a-7 (3 total) and nice. As noted by others this place has strip club prices for drinks but no strippers. I would go to Hooters first for better prices and only come here for one or two drinks later. My advice to ownership -try American-style daily happy hour or drink specials- so your customers will at least think they are getting an "experience". They upgraded the waitresses- they are prettier with less tatoos. No tatoos would be better still. They still need to play the music and not the sound of the TV games- it kills the party atmosphere since we are all watching different sports.
