I had the pleasure of dining at a Michelin-starred restaurant located in a serene forested area and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The cozy atmosphere and not-too-loud music created a warm and inviting ambiance, making it the perfect place for a relaxed evening out.

The service was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met. The prices were reasonable and did not seem inflated, given the quality of the food and service. I was particularly impressed with the correct serving of Prosecco, which was delicious and perfectly complemented my meal.

As for the food, I must say that the duck breast was the highlight of my meal. It was cooked to perfection and was incredibly flavorful, leaving me wanting more. The presentation of the dish was also impressive, and it was evident that great care had been taken in preparing it.

What I loved most about this restaurant, apart from the food and service, was its location. The quiet forest corner and the summer playground created a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere, which made my dining experience all the more enjoyable.

In conclusion, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. From the cozy atmosphere and not-too-loud music to the excellent service and perfectly cooked food, this Michelin-starred...

We had the pleasure of enjoying a memorable lunch at Dubravkin Put—our very first Michelin-starred experience. Tucked away near Tuškanac forest, the serene surroundings matched the refined yet relaxed ambiance inside.

We went with the 3-course menu, starting with veal medallions served warm—beautifully tender and elegantly plated. The white fish fillet followed, subtly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Peach Melba rounded things off with its nostalgic sweetness and lovely balance.

On the à la carte side, we ordered the Croatian tenderloin aged steak. It arrived without any sauce or decorative garnish, which momentarily surprised us. Perhaps it’s a minimalist approach to let the flavour of the meat take center stage—and in fairness, it was richly flavourful and impeccably cooked. The rustic pairing of chard and potatoes made for a satisfying complement.

We finished with the indulgent Le Louis XV—a layered chocolate creation that felt regal in every bite. Service was generally warm and professional, although there was a small hiccup: our waiter brought a second bottle of water after we declined. Likely a simple miscommunication, and not something that detracted from the overall experience.

A sophisticated lunch that invites you to slow down and savor. Highly recommended for those looking to explore elevated Croatian cuisine in a...

Unfortunately, we were really disappointed by this restaurant. To preface, we aren’t fine dining regulars with exceedingly high standards. We went to Dubravkin put on our honeymoon as a big splurge and left let down.

The service was pretty good, but nothing special. We were struggling to understand the menu and were asked brusquely twice if we were ready to order. We asked for a few things that the waitstaff forgot about and never brought. The time in between courses was painfully long. The sommelier was friendly and helpful though.

As a Michelin Star restaurant we thought maybe the service wouldn’t be great, but at least the food would be impressive. Unfortunately we were wrong. My first course was a traditional pasta dish. I wasn’t a fan, but since I don’t know how it’s supposed to be cooked I can’t really comment. However, my second course of fish was unacceptable. It was so overcooked it was tough, it was unevenly cooked throughout, and had virtually no flavor. My husband left the meal feeling like he had one outstanding carrot and a delicious dessert, but the rest was really boring and unimpressive.

Overall, it felt like a generic fancy restaurant that failed to meet our reasonable...

What a special privilege to enjoy a five-hour lunch (that wasn't a degustation) in the Michelin star restaurant in Zagreb. Located in the Tuškanac forest, just a few minutes’ walk from the very centre of the city, Dubravkin put is both a restaurant and a wine bar. Its interior is warm and contemporary, while its terrace has a beautiful view of the park and forest. Our sommelier took on an amazing journey of Croatian wines, from Champagne-style to Chablis. Here we fell in love with Croatian wines from Istria. The executive chef is Vedran Petranović who creates two menu styles, one more traditional Croatian, while the other (which we elected) has more of a culinary journey around the Mediterranean. The team were delightful and we loved hearing all about the local hot spots. We were pleasantly surprised when we received our bill 5 hours later, definitely looking forward to our next visit. We loved the entire experience, as the location lends itself to kicking back post-lunch and enjoy some amazing bespoke cocktails from their mixologist Domagoj Skuliber.

First of all - great location in the hills, cosy, enclosed but not creepy, modern but not trying too hard. Waiters were friendly, true professionals , always there when you need them but not disturbing the experience. The food? what else to say but glorious, ingenious, fabulous... went with the 7 course chef menu and you can see in the pictures that it really was a blast. with all the intermediate courses and greetings from the kitchen you end up with 10 courses :-) . so why only 4 stars? the main course - australian lamb - it was just raw - although i believe the chef when he said it was ment to be that way - its just something that you have to ask BEFORE you serve it. i would just expect that. prices are high for zagreb - but the food is worth it - so overall .. Thumbs up - try it.
